I love any opportunity that I get to engage with the great people at School Board Partners! I'm proud to serve on panels like these where I'm able to share some of the lessons I've learned with school board members across the country.

I have learned so much from @schoolbpartners while I have been on the Board of Ed. This is reflected in my championing the Black and Hispanic Student Achievement Plan as well as so much other work I have done. I am hopeful for the work we can accomplish together in 4 more years!
So thrilled to be endorsed by @runforsomething! Being a millennial, a woman of color and a mom that serves the people is the highlight of my life. I look forward to your continued support.
🚨ENDORSEMENT ALERT🚨: Run for Something is proud to endorse @millicent4dps for re-election to the Durham Public Schools Board in NC! With her proven track record of advocacy and dedication, Millicent is well-equipped to take on the challenges facing Durham's education system!
As a single, working-class parent, I have advocated for all families, but most especially families like mine, advocating for improved bussing, expanding free lunches, and improved communication.
Over the last 18 months there have been countless attempts by conservatives to fearmonger and attack public school systems, our educators, and bind our administration from providing what our students need and deserve.

I invite you to join me as we celebrate my 39th birthday, the wins that we have had together over the last 18 months, and launch a campaign that is demonstrative of our future success.
In keeping with the spirit of Giving Tuesday being my 39th birthday, I invite you to donate $39.00, $390.00, $3900.00, or any nod to 39, in order to ensure we have the ability to keep students supported and connected to their public learning environments.
