1/9 I wasn't gonna do this, but my name is involved. And I need y'all to put some respect on my name. This weekend @politico published our roundtable discussion about marriage. I don't like how people are framing the discussion.

My daughter (5th grade) said the reason why the kids are acting this way is because of the adults in their life and I believe her. These children are tired of what we are giving them and aren't taking it.
Something about how folks are talking about and interacting with that librarian is strange. Performative,maybe?
We don't have enough information to assess this situation. For all we know, he is holding his financial boundaries because she was on some bs. She needs to talk to her trusted friends and probably his parents to get some insight. The internet is for info and drama, not wisdom
If you choose to allow your adult children to stay with you, then there has to be a mindset shift. We are all adults so everyone is responsible and everyone should feel safe. Which means momma can't have ninjas running all through.

I see a lot of people coming down to hotel breakfast with their pajamas on. So do y'all wear the sleepwear outside and then put them back on at night and sleep in them again...or do y'all have some other ones??
I do think how you tell your marriage story gives insight into your maturity and perspective on marriage. My marriage story has changed over time from one that included details that slighted my husband to one that highlights our mutual interest. Same story, different focus.

I'm noticing an increased frustration with technology within the GenX and Xennial people in my life. The point where technology is intuitive to us is ending and we are having to gain new skills because so much of our lives are in apps.
I love that @KCParksRecDept stays on top of fall, winter, and spring breaks and provides reasonably priced child care. Thank you to the staff that keep our babies....
So..uhmm. Have y'all considered looking at those charter school calendars??
