Hey everyone 👋
I’m Open_lens — building in public around practical AI, tools, and tech insights.
Currently exploring real-world AI use cases and sharing what I learn.
Happy to connect with other builders and exchange tips. Looking forward to learning from this community!
Every CSE student has that one friend who knows absolutely nothing about coding but somehow has the highest confidence in the group 😂
An idea gets compliments
A product gets users
A business gets people to pay return and tell others
Don't confuse the first milestone with the last
The internet made everyone a creator.
Now everyone is competing for attention, and attention has become the product we're all selling to each other.
Stop asking, “What skill should I learn next?”
Ask, “What can I build with the skills I already have?”
You might be closer to being useful than you think.
It worked perfectly on my local machine yesterday. — The biggest lie ever told in the history of Computer Science
The real AI skill isn't writing the perfect prompt.
It's knowing when the answer sounds convincing but is completely wrong.
Confidence is cheap. Verification is the skill.
You don't need to learn every new technology.
You need to become the person who can figure out an unfamiliar one without panicking.
That skill outlives the trend.
Societies adapted, regulations and safety practices evolved, and the technology was absorbed
proper response has always been careful development, iterative safety work, and continued advancement rather than paralysis
Me: “I’ll clean up the code before shipping.”
Also me, three months later:
“Who wrote this unstable masterpiece?”
Nobody sees the 6 months you spent learning a skill.
They only see the job offer, the product or the money.
Keep building when the progress is invisible. That's where most people quit.
AI can write your code.
It can build your website.
It can even help you start a business.
But it can't make you care enough to keep going when nobody believes in you.
That's still on you.
Your learning system is broken if every new skill requires starting from zero.
Learn how to research, debug, document and build small projects.
Those skills compound across technologies.
The most brutal part of Monday morning isn't the work itself
It's watching millions of deeply exhausted adults immediately snap back into a highly-taxed survival loop they spent the entire weekend desperately trying to escape
The machine doesn't care how tired you are
A startup doesn't always need a revolutionary idea
Sometimes it just needs to take something people already hate doing, remove 80% of the friction, and charge less for it
Unlocks phone to check one thing.
17 minutes later: Forgot the thing. Learned nothing. Somehow opened Instagram.
