Trans people exist and they are trans. They deserve to be treated fairly by society and competently by physicians. However, males cannot become females or vice versa. If trans could accept being trans rather than insist on biological impossibilities we’d all have better lives.

The Conversion Practices Bill is a test of Parliament. It is clearly unenactable drivel beyond amendment or redemption. It should be scuttled now before further resources are wasted on it.
Poor Olly Bailey was desperate to get someone, anyone, to agree that there really are conversion practices going on today to justify her silly Bill. The Ozanne Foundation survey in 2018 found no gay cp in the previous three years and no trans cp ever. And she was looking for it.
As writ you'd have to give someone a heart attack or a nervous breakdown to be convicted of Conversion Practices so what's the fuss? Well the fuss isn't really in the Bill. It's in the Explanatory Notes.
There are men and women on both sides of the traditional v progressive conflict. There are gays and straights; right and left; old and young; theist and atheist; rich and poor; black and white; misogynist and misandrist; feminist and chauvanist.
I imagine GLP will transfer all the money it cadged for this meritless posturing to White and Whittle at TransLudicrous so they can at least st have a nice day out.
Today, the High Court has refused Good Law Project permission to intervene in a legal challenge against trans inclusion at Hampstead Ponds.
We are pleased that the trans advocacy group TransLucent has been successful in its application to intervene.
