Probably the two best ASICs of 2026. The first is a SHA-256 miner Nexus S1-8 for solo Bitcoin mining, running the same BM1373 chips as the Antminer S23, at 40 TH/s. The second is the Elphapex DG2 Mini, a Scrypt miner doing 2.4 GH/s at 540–550W
Honestly, I'm not even sure why I bought this monitoring station for my devices. My phone pretty much does the same thing
Nexus S2-4 PRO - The world's first solo miner powered by BM1374 chips. And yes, we've secured the entire first batch!
You've probably all seen the news that the Elphapex DG2 Mini has hit warehouses in Hong Kong, and it can also be used for solo mining. This one is definitely worth a look, because for a modest price of around $600 it delivers 2.4 GH/s at 540W. I have one on its way to me for review, but it's stuck in customs over paperwork. Hopefully I'll get it next week and make a video.
Just to avoid any confusion, this video isn't mine. It's from one of the suppliers in Hong Kong
Anyone know if @HashWatcher lets you set a custom power draw for each device, so it shows real wall readings instead of the lower web UI figures?
I slightly tweaked the frequency and core voltage and got a solid 40 TH/s at slightly lower power. The wattmeter at the wall shows 612–615W at 40 TH/s, 15W less than the default settings
In my case, the unit averages 40.5 TH/s at 630W.
And yes, it's dead silent, in large part thanks to the quality PSUs.
Nexus S1-8
The most wanted ASIC of 2026 is already flying to me from Dubai. I'll most likely get it today. I was expecting it yesterday, but our package got split up in the UAE
8xBM1373
So, I tested it at 22 TH/s for a few hours, and the wattmeter showed around 350W. But a much more efficient setup is to lower the core frequency and voltage and set the hashrate to around 20 TH/s. That gives you an honest 300W at the wall, which looks pretty good considering it costs around $600, depending on where you buy it. For the money, it's a solid device that doesn't overheat, at least according to the voltage regulator temperature sensors. Everything I've used with BM1373 chips before has had constant overheating issues
The full review will be up on YouTube within a few hours.
