1) you don’t have to “accept” anything because frankly it isn’t for you? this is very entitled language to be using about someone else’s hobby
2) no the point of hobbies is not to “improve” the point is to have fun and express yourself. and if that includes “improving” then that is a personal choice of the person engaging in the hobby and has nothing to do with random people online
