Quick thing I learned the hard way...
Never let a juicy premium talk you into owning something you wouldn't otherwise touch.
Eventually the market will test that decision.
And suddenly that $400 you collected won't feel nearly as exciting..

The account can still be productive even when I'm not actively trading.
Sounds boring... It is..
Selling options:
You can start small.
You can do it part time.
You can focus on higher-probability setups.
You can scale as your account grows.
That's why I think this is something almost anyone can learn...
If they're willing to respect the risk.

You don't need to trade the open.
You don't need to scalp every move.
You need capital.
A plan.
And enough discipline to wait for good setups....

I've done the sit-at-the-screen-all-day thing for years..
There's money there.
There's also a lot of TIME there.
These days I'm trying to make the money without donating the whole day to get it..

Structure.
You can learn patience.
Probability.
Risk.
Reinvestment.
Those skills matter long before the account gets big.

You can learn the same process with a much smaller account.
Under $10k?
Fine.
Start smaller.
Learn the mechanics.
Build the habits.
Scale later..

I think people assume selling options is complicated because the option chain looks complicated...
It really doesn't have to be.
What do I want to own?
Where do I want to own it?
What's the risk?
What's the probability?
What are they paying me?
That's basically where I start.. There isnt much more to it..

Day trading asks you to be right NOW.
Selling options can give you time.
Room.
Probability.
And flexibility.
That fits my life a lot better..
Mkts are changing, time to change with it...
