We're sad to say farewell to Milton (on the right), who is leaving us to start a PhD. Jacob crocheted this unbelievable Cryovial (complete w/ removable lavender insert and plasma) which may be the best leaving present ever given! So long Milton, and thanks for all the PHOSP 😉
The bees were on the honeysuckle collecting pollen before 7 o'clock this morning #beekeeping #BeekeepersHour
Does this make my poly hives carbon neutral? Poor little lamb got chilled in the frost last night #beekeeping #lamb @MaisemoreBees
You've probably heard of the bees knees, well this is the bees neck. I wish Spring would hurry up, fed up of all this freezing cold weather, winter seems to be lasting as long as Covid #beekeeping #britishbee #Beekeepershour

I had 5 sheep on their backs yesterday 😱 so thought I would show this video again. Please if you see a sheep like this it's important to roll them or the birds will eat them alive. They may be very wobbly at first so keep an eye on them Thankyou.
Just ordered mine, great idea for Christmas #beekeeping

It is dark & rainy today, so we thought we would share a photo taken by our 'Bee Team photographer' (age11) to remind us of sunnier days with the #bees!
We will be sharing some exciting news in the next week or so... so watch this space (and the photos! 😉)#BeekeepersHour
Just discovered that sucking a Fisherman’s friend whilst wearing a mask doesn’t half make your eyes water 😷

Honey is a popular product in autumn. A taste of summer and a good remedy for coughs and colds. But take care where you buy, honey shouldn't be cheap - it's value represents the hard work of bees and beekeepers. And if you can, try to support local beekeepers and bee farmers.

Words fail me about the devastation of our award-winning apiary at Gallions Reach by “travellers” during their fortnight of occupation. Here is what we found there this morning...

It's the end of the BBKA's Asian Hornet Week. A week in which I hope you have learned more about Asian Hornets & now feel confident about identifying & reporting them! And of course when we have seen 1st confirmed report of them in Gosport #bees #AsianHornetWeek

It's Asian Hornet Week - We understand the flying Asian hornets in a vineyard north of Gosport were tracked to a nest and it will be dealt with later #bees #asianhornetweek #asianhornet
