next was and the strange and funky happenings one day. a collection of shorts that deliver exactly what it says on the the cover: a delightful mix of mundanity and insanity. i read it in one sitting but probably best discovered piecemeal for even more unpredictability.

just finished the other side of the clouds. beautifully dreamy artwork supported by some really sensitive lettering choices. following the main character through her discoveries in kumogaura was a real treat.

i also wanted to add, retouching for this book was done by anton (alcaladiao.carrd.co/)! retouch is an integral part of full SFX replacement and he did an amazing job, especially considering how complex some of the art was.
