Shigeru Miyamoto shared thoughts on generative AI and its meaning for creativity in game development.
He compared AI to the evolution of computers and design tools. As technology handles more technical work, human design sense and creative judgment grow more important.
Miyamoto distinguishes between “creating something” and “doing the work.”
Creating starts with deciding what to make, building the overall structure, and having clear intention. The work that follows fills in details, polishes, and executes the idea.
“People can become so satisfied with the work itself that they start mistaking that satisfaction for having created something good.”
Miyamoto believes AI taking over repetitive work could give people more chances to focus on what they truly want to create.
“The more AI takes care of all kinds of tasks for us, the more opportunities we all have to think seriously about what it really means to create something.”
He acknowledges AI could eventually handle almost everything in the creative process, but for now:
“I think there’s still plenty that we humans can do.”
Uzumaki makes you fear spirals 𖦹ׂ, I read the manga, watched the live action movie, the anime, even video games. A franchise of true horror 𖦹ׂ 𖦹ׂ miscrave.com/articles/uzumak…
Street Fighter II animated movie versions guide:
US unrated is the best mix.
UK has too much cursing,
PG13 is too censored,
Original score doesnt work well with English track, better to watch the Japanese voices if you prefer the original soundtrack.
I will forever miss Innouva & Nova in the new Magic Knight Rayearth remake. Two fantastic anime only characters not featured in the manga 魔法騎士マジックナイトレイアース イノーバ ノヴァ
The 1994 live action street fighter movie had a sequel in animated form. The 90s cartoon continued the storyline from the film and incorporated the game lore into the movie story. A lot of care, not just memes miscrave.com/articles/street…

Someone is looking for a dog. They gave an anti AI sticker over the dogs head.
The live action street fighter soundtrack is a bit odd but still street fighter in many ways miscrave.com/articles/street…

The results are in.
The Ariel pencil test was made with #AI.
The color version is the original movie footage.
I left both versions unlabeled because I wanted to see how people’s assumptions about AI would affect their judgment.
While some of you spotted it right away (I even left a few clues, like the incorrect peg holes and random annotations), the majority of you criticized the color version thinking it was AI and praised the pencil test believing it was #GlenKeane’s original work.
That’s the bias against AI I wanted to highlight. People were pointing out supposed AI flaws in the original Disney animation, while praising the AI-generated pencil test for its human touch.
If you preferred the pencil version, you can still prefer it. The video hasn’t changed. Only what you know about it has.
You can't even tell it's #AI anymore!
Another test brought to life thanks to AI. Tell me again how AI is NOT the future of #2DAnimation.
Original animation by the legendary Disney animator #GlenKeane.

gaming discourse is absolutely infested with motherfuckers who watched two emulation videos and appointed themselves senior hardware engineers 😭
“THE PS5 CAN RUN PS2 GAMES! SONY JUST WON’T LET IT!”
congratulations, Professor YouTube. you discovered emulation exists. now explain game compatibility, disc authentication, licensing, proprietary peripherals, and why getting one game running doesn’t mean 4,000 others magically work.
these dumbasses think they cracked a multibillion dollar conspiracy because somebody booted up an ISO.
whole timeline full of pretend engineers with troubleshooting skills that end at unplugging the router LMFAOOOO

NA commercial for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (1999). This was during the Wizards of the Coast era as it advertises the Base Set starter decks. This commercial features a skit as the newest Pokémon Trading Card Game champion is being interviewed.
We took a look at the Street Fighter live action 1994 movie which actually has a subtitle The Ultimate Battle. Also the extended lore of the 2 video games it got as well as the differences between them miscrave.com/articles/street…
