There is so much ignorance about Israel and Israelis. They are so many lies told by anti-Israel haters.
I like the personal touch so I thought I would take you on a bit of a tour to meet some:

Today in another Israel hostile and error laden piece in the Telegraph @emilysmith_7 wrote that 50000 graduates are leaving Israel each year. This is non-factual insanity. But when some journos set out to drive a narrative - facts cease to matter.

Benjamin Netanyahu has ordered Israel to support Argentina over the Falklands, The Telegraph can reveal.
The Israeli prime minister told diplomats to change his country’s official position and join Buenos Aires in calling for direct talks over the future of the islands.

If a right wing commentator posted a 16-tweet thread trying to dismiss and undermine an official report into any other type of racism, Owen Jones would be the first to call them racist. But when it comes to antisemitism, he is first in line with the 'debunking'. What a hypocrite.

🤣🤣🤣🤣
Owen Jones has, for the last three years, revealed himself to be a man of enormous courage, integrity and truthfulness. No one should think for a minute that his relentless defence of Palestinian rights and historical truth is easy or comes without heavy personal costs. Throughout the genocide in Gaza, Jones remained a tireless bur rigorous and supremely decent voice. I suspect part of what initially moved him was the strong displeasure in being treated like an idiot by the official propaganda – a noble motive in itself – but there is no question he has been genuinely touched by the images of suffering arriving daily from Gaza. And yet, how does his intellectual fixation on a battle between left and right help us understand the horrors of Gaza, or move us to stop them? My impression is that the opposite has happened. People look at what is happening in Gaza and ask themselves what a person on the right or on the left should think. In many cases this is ideology. In most, simply careerism and group association. Jones shows how limited the perspective really is. How about, like the author himself, asking how a human being should feel? How about returning to the world of facts and feelings rather than our endless Marvel franchise? newstatesman.com/culture/boo…

A must listen. Douglas Murray nails it every single time.

Raw antisemitism.. Blaming Jews for all the evil in the world...
You have anti-western forces rising in the U.S, and it seems like Bernie Sanders aligns with all of them.
AIPAC is now spending as much as $9 million against Abdul El-Sayed.
AIPAC is why we’re at war in Iran.
AIPAC is why the U.S. has supported genocide in Gaza.
We must say NO to AIPAC.
YES to electing Abdul as Michigan’s next U.S. Senator.
The Sally Rooney episode is a great example of how left wing propaganda works.
Nobody said Sally Rooney was a terrorist.
Rooney explicitly said she was going to help fund a proscribed group. Whatever her reasons it is illegal to facilitate that in the UK.
So stop whining.

Mamdani, El-Sayed and many far-left politicians use AIPAC and Israel as a scapegoat for America’s problems, while super PACs bankroll their rise.
They blame AIPAC, but who’s behind THEIR MILLIONS?

I will translate. Hey everyone. Remember October 7 when thousands of Palestinian terrorists rampaged through Israel butchering and murdering over 1000 Israelis.
Well when they try to do it again - we want Israel to be defenceless. So stop arming Israel!

Nothing about the climate then? The party once focused on the environment has been hijacked by a bunch of obsessive antisemites.
The tragedy? While the obsession doesn't help Palestinians at all - it destroyed the Green Party and what it stood for.

No Zack, what @TheGreenParty has done under your watch is climate vandlaism.
You took a party that was meant to drive the climate argument and turned it into an unelectable, Israel-obsessive, antisemitic cult.
The planet will never forgive you.

Everywhere I see chaos, cultural vandalism and anti-western violence take place in Europe - I see the Palestinian flag being waved.
At some point Europe has to wake up.
Doesn't it?
Sarah Helm has been pushing images of Burayr, which was once a small Arab village northeast of Gaza City. She posted them to promote the Nakba myth: that a poor Arab village was massacred and depopulated by violent, nasty Jews who just wanted to ethnically cleanse the Arabs.
As usual with fictions such as this, she begins at the point when the Jews responded to Arab violence. Burayr’s history did not begin with its capture.
@SarahHelm1 did not bother to tell anyone that it was the Arabs who started the war. She also neglected to describe how the village of Burayr was armed and hostile; how villagers attacked vehicles trying to take supplies to Jewish villages; how they blockaded roads and fired shots at Jews who tried to pass; and how, when a nearby kibbutz was established, Burayr villagers tried to kill its residents.
Nor does she mention that the village lay on the Egyptian army’s invasion route, and that the Jews had to take control of the area and deal with hostile villages along the route, or they would have been massacred.
This explains why the village was captured - and all of this is ignored. This is the true story of Israel's war of independence - a war of survival against Arabs who wanted to wipe them out.
The end point - when the Arabs paid the price for losing a war they started - is all that she cares about. She is trying to invert history and make the aggressors - the Arabs - look like innocent victims.
Hope this helps clear that up.

Sarah Helm loves to demonise Israel. If only she knew her history. This article from 16 March 1948 says villagers in Burayr set up roadblocks to attack Jews and Jewish convoys came under heavy fire.
The Arabs started a war and lost. Get over it.
