LeToya Luckett managed to be 1/4 of a PLATINUM, Grammy winning girl group, replaced, started another girl group which almost made it, then went into fashion, and THEN a platinum selling solo career. Another thing, she has no bad albums. All three solo albums 10/10. She’s managed to handle Stan culture and haters with class, grace, and tenacity. You can’t tell LeToya shit. And quite frankly, if I had the solo career in music, television, AND film that she’s had, you couldn’t tell me shit either. They said she was never gonna be. And she became even more than that. Today is for the fans who discovered “Torn”, “Gangsta Grillz”, & “U Got What I Need” via LIMEWIRE!!!!!!! #LeToya20

Now that it’s been over 24 hours…. #TheChi doesn’t owe me anything from the finale. I would have loved some dialogue from Maisha, Dre and definitely some moments with Kev, Jake, & Papa. One word from Tracy would have been nice. Season one was mostly about her son’s death and the events around it. Where was Roslyn all season? She took out Alicia and never resurfaced. Emmett’s brother Damien could have appeared as one of the groomsmen. They brought that character in just to phase him out. I think the addition of these unnecessary characters & random storylines the last couple seasons distracted us from the core of The Chi a little bit. I’m not gonna lie, I would have loved seeing Brandon & Coogie’s mom make a cameo in the finale @ Smokey’s to celebrate Emmett. He told Laverne he wanted to keep Brandon’s dream alive. And in a way, he did. LONG LIVE THE CHI
