As a person who uses it everyday & also as a DJ tool, I beg to differ.
Tidal failed.
I remember tweeting that Jay Z should sell fast when I got wind of the operating costs.
All 16 artistes on stage didn't stay on course and pull their weight by promoting and delivering exclusives to the platform understandable cos they have to deal with their own label politics to make this happen.
Tough business especially going against the industry big dawgs.
Jay Z even forked out 20mil USD for Kanye to get TLOP exclusively on Tidal, Bey dropped some exclusives on Tidal too to try push it.
Couldn't get over the Line.
As an artiste on a joint ownership deal, you just don't sit down and expect equity and cheques.
