My team has been pushing the development of MARL-driven methods to model markets and complex economic systems. We are now excited to share the underlying framework we built for MARL+ABM. Team will be at #aamas2023 tomorrow. Stop by the poster to learn more.
Excited to share our @aamas2023 paper: "Phantom: An RL-Driven Framework for Agent-Based Modeling! Phantom bridges the gap between #ABM and #MARL, enabling the study of complex multi-agent systems. Come and meet us at the conference on June 2. arxiv.org/abs/2210.06012

Let me be very clear: if all we do is accept the certified Electoral College results and go home, we would have failed our country. We must impeach Trump, or have the 25th Amendment execute, or have @realDonaldTrump resign. Congress cannot just go home like nothing happened.

ICYMI there's proposal to make the max international student graduate visa to 4 years, with little info on extensions. Most PhDs take 5-6 yrs. US research and the economy all benefit from talented students coming to study here! Add a public comment at: federalregister.gov/document…

One of the key challenges building agent-based simulations of complex systems (e.g. markets) is ensuring that the simulations are realistic.

In this work, we propose a new, scalable method to simultaneously learn agent policies and the composition of agents in the simulation, such that the simulator is calibrated to real-world targets.
