Men are spectators in thier own mess. Holding him accountable could mean the other women lose accessibility to him. And also for the wife leaving could also mean the same. Men do not hold women at a high pedestal like themselves.

Let me tell you guys. Government engineering parastatals normally have more people in HR than the engineers 💀 Unapata HR, finance and others is half the parastatal. Then engineers are like 10%.
The entire NCA Nairobi region has 4 engineers. How can these guys be able to check compliance for over 500 ongoing projects- its a big joke. I am also reliably informed there are engineers and architects who have over 100 registered projects. How are these guys managing these projects on a day to day basis? We need to have the difficult conversations.

The concept of forgiveness "purifying" and resentment "rotting" is rooted in theological justification of abuses. Anger and resentment do not "rot" you, forgiveness doesn't "purify" you. They emerge in contextual relationships, resentment can be virtue and forgiveness can rot you
the main reason why they tell you to forgive is so you’re not holding resentment that literally rottens you overtime it has nothing to do with coddling or accepting the person

Misogyny - she rejected his advances and instead of moving on as a sane person would, he is obsessed with gaining continued access to her.
I have never understood why Piers is so weird about Meghan

When community members in Siaya rejected Shanta Gold's land acquisition, state security stepped in. Local activist Silas Asitiba was arrested at gunpoint, paraded on DCI social media, and had his phones seized, with court orders to return it ignored. Was the police doing their job or we're they weaponized to silence committee members genuinely opposing land consents? #LandGoldandPower
SIAYA UNLAWFUL DEMO MOBILIZER CORNERED IN DRINKING DEN Gem Sub County detectives have arrested the key mobilizer behind the violent demonstrations witnessed in Yala on April 6, 2026, in a well-coordinated raid. Acting on pinpoint intelligence, the detectives raided a local drinking den in Ramula where the suspect, 30-year-old Silas Asitiba, was apprehended. Asitiba is believed to be the primary architect and mobilizer of the rowdy group that descended upon Ramula Police Post, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. The suspect is currently in custody, undergoing processing, and is set to face a litany of charges, including: Arson, Assault, Malicious damage to property, Incitement to violence among others. The hunt is far from over, as detectives are currently hot on the trail of several other accomplices who organised and funded the chaos. The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) advises the public to refrain from participating in unlawful demonstration. While the right to picket is constitutionally guaranteed, the transition into criminality, hooliganism, and the targeting of police installations will be met with the full force of the law. #FichuaKwaDCI. Nairobi is the physical embodiment of what happens when the concept of “public good” is almost completely disappeared from how a city is governed; what happens when a municipal authority almost entirely abandons the city to market forces.
Billboards have been a disaster for street trees in Nairobi.

The reason was shaming and shifting blame away from the party who actually said vows and confirmed those vows with a legal document.
They were called "home-wreckers" for a reason. Then you folks came with your English and called them "side-chics" Now they think it's a constitutional office with marital perks.

I don't do transactional relationships. Not in romance, family or friendship. Work that needs to be done and care that needs to be given is done asked on ability on from a place of care not archaic binary gender roles.
if you the woman provide ill gladly do the house work

This question seems to have touched a nerve 🤣 Lemme take screenshots & make a note to write about femme labour/invisible labour when it comes to a cishet Kenyan marriage lmfao.
If it's so basic why is he incapable of doing it for himself?

Thousands of years of wisdom led to these social roles. To dismiss on grounds of a few chores is myopic.

I do think this is tied to our inflation rates and erratic economy. I just don't have proof... Yet.
When i was shopping 4 a therapist, I talked to 3 kenyan ones, they quoted the prices in USD. The one who quoted in Kenya shillings was an Kenyan with Indian descent 😂😂😂. Kenya is such a funny country i swear. Like who exactly are you targeting with your USD prices?

I would make a slight edit Gaslit inro performing forgiveness. They don't care if the victim actually forgives just the performance so that things return to status quo.
Society’s obsession with forgiveness is one of the biggest contributors to abuse of all forms. Somehow the victim is gaslit into forgiving someone who wronged them but the same energy is never had for the actual abuser/perpetrator.

This is another facet on why the way the convo around what the wife is meant to do when it comes to their whore husband bringing home a child. Is society demand nothing of him in terms of atonement & accountability. It's shifted to her, patriarchal society is so hypocritical -
Nope. The humiliation that comes with being a single mom and a divorcee is far much worse that being married to a an unfaithful man

- it treats a scorned wife as the failure when she did no wromg. &this is touches every facet of a married woman's life, it's why it can be weaponized. If folks can't even have a hypothetical conversation without blaming the cheating husband imagine the irl implications?
