I still think it’s wild that they never won a Grammy as a group.
I know the media likes to rewrite history but from the second the Jackson 5 debuted, they were an instant hit. They knocked the Beatles off the charts with their first few songs. Their first 4 consecutive singles reached No. 1. Mind you, the Beatles had already been an established act by 1969 when the Jackson 5 debuted. And since their debut, they had worldwide tours + constantly swarmed by fans due to their level of fame and had continued success during their later years as The Jacksons. But regardless of success (since success alone isn’t Grammy worthy), they were artistically innovative and phenomenal with vocals/songwriting/producing music (ex. Triumph!!!). Nominated a few times for a Grammy. but never won anything. I feel they were not properly rewarded for their efforts.
