Attention spans aren't dead.
Podcasting proved it.
The biggest shows weren't built from one viral clip.
They gave people a reason to come back every week.
Maybe we should spend less time trying to go viral and more time creating something people actually want to return to.
Spotify wants podcasts. YouTube wants podcasts. Everyone wants the next big show.
But creators should be asking a different question:
Are you building an audience for the platform, or for yourself?
Being everywhere is great
Building an audience you can take with you is better
"What we can't control is programmatic."
@CrookedMedia ad seller @gbizzarro on how they solve it: four people listening for bad ads.
Four.
At a top network.
With @getredcircle's demand, Mic Check protects you so you don't need a team to keep your feed safe from bad ads.
It's telling that this is cut up with clips no longer than a few seconds, and its immediately obvious that it's AI.
Truly -- is anyone going to watch or listen to this?
I'll let the podcast generator speak for itself...
Video Podcast is live.
Turn any doc, link, or idea into a two-host video show with studio scenes, multi-cam cuts, and B-roll. Ready in minutes.
Everyone else stops at audio. This is a show you can publish.

Podcasters: do you actually know what ads are playing on your show right now?
We've seen ICE ads slip past "politics" blocks. Sex toy brands labeled "Shopping." Marijuana as "Vitamins."
Mic Check AI now transcribes every programmatic ad and fixes the label in seconds.
The rest know nothing of our pain. Of Galactus' pain.
Assuming there really are ~26M software developers globally:
How is it possible that this video by @krazamtv has "only" 3M views, four years after posting it. I would have thought every developer saw it by now!
