#WeedWednesday I am finding 2-3” lambsquarter in corn fields without a pre emerge herbicide on them. As they get bigger they develop a waxy layer that makes post herbicides less effective. Starting clean with a pre emerge is always the best way to go. Post options are limited.

Alfalfa weevils being found to our south. It's time to begin scouting your fields. I recommend 10 ounces of Steward with Astute. Far superior to other treatments. If you choose to cut rather than spray, I still recommend an insecticide treatment as soon as hay is removed.
