💔 Ronnie cannot even stand up without help. How can anyone expect him to pull a cart again?
Remember Ronnie, who collapsed while pulling a vegetable cart? His back is so badly affected that he still needs help getting up.
Yet his owner, who himself walks with crutches, keeps coming and demanding Ronnie back. Today, even the media contacted us, request us to return him.
Ronnie is NOT fit for work. We cannot let him suffer again! 🫏💔
We've appealed repeatedly for help, but we're still nowhere near our target.
🛺 A specially adapted rickshaw for his disabled owner, or
🏪 A small grocery shop to provide him with an alternative livelihood.
Please help us give Ronnie the retirement he desperately deserves, without leaving his owner without an income.
Even £5 matters. 🙏❤️ Please donate and repost!

Darling Morticia’s luck was in when a wonderful lady saw her out in the day & knew she needed to help her. These precious autumn juveniles are dying of parasite invasion & starvation. There’s no natural food for them. PLEASE help if you can, providing food&water will save lives🦔

A mother and her baby desperately need your help. 💔🫏
Today, an elderly donkey arrived at our sanctuary with her baby boy, barely a year old. Her condition was horrifying.
Both ears were severely swollen and infested with maggots. Deep holes had formed in both shoulders, with bone visibly exposed.
The cause? The very harness meant to protect her. Its broken fittings and enormous exposed screws had been digging into her bones. Imagine the agony this poor old mother endured!
Her owner came only for treatment. We begged him to admit her, but he refused. After heated arguments, he finally agreed—provided he could take her baby to pull the same deadly cart that had destroyed his mother's body!
The baby is far too young and tiny even to fit that cart. I couldn't allow it. After shouting, pleading and involving local villagers, we managed to keep them both.
Then came the most beautiful transformation. ❤️
Look at them outside our gates—terrified, heads lowered, eyes closed. Now look at them just minutes inside!
The baby found himself surrounded by donkeys his own age, like a child arriving at a playground with a football, delighted to find so many friends!
His elderly mother walked straight to the food trolley, eating so confidently and peacefully, as though she'd lived here forever. This was barely ten minutes after arriving!
Outside our gates, fear and suffering. Inside, safety, friendship and peace. This is the life they deserve, not that deadly cart.
But their freedom is only temporary. 💔
The owner may return tomorrow demanding them back. He doesn't want a motorised cart, as he only uses his donkey to collect fodder, not for business.
This elderly mother can never return to that harness, and her baby is far too young to work. We must secure their permanent release.
Please, can you help us save them for good?
We urgently need sponsors for their treatment, food and ongoing care, and possibly funds to negotiate their legal release.
Even £5 could help. Please donate, sponsor them or share their story. They deserve a future together, free from suffering. ❤️

I'm sorry I couldn't add English subtitles or a voiceover today. It's been an incredibly busy day, so I've shared their story here instead.

THIS IS LAILA — JUST TWO WEEKS APART. 💔❤️
When she was abandoned at our shelter, her body was so badly affected that we couldn’t even show you the worst of it.
Daily medicated baths. Treatment. Good food. Endless care.
And now look at her. 🥹
She is healing — but she still has a long way to go, and once strong enough, she needs to be spayed.
But Laila is just ONE.
We receive cases like hers — and often far worse — constantly. Weeks and months of medicines, food, tests and nursing follow every rescue.
And right now, our shelter desperately needs help carrying them.
Could YOU sponsor Laila? Or could 5 or 10 people carry her together?
Please don’t scroll past her recovery. Help us finish what we started. 🙏❤️

Let’s look at some forgetting ones ☹️
The big black boys often get overlooked so let’s look at Calippo.
He’s 6yrs old, a bit shy in the kennel environment but improves when he’s away from the kennels and in the quiet sensory garden.
A quiet home with another dog would be perfect.
Could you share and help his dreams of the sweet life come true? 🙏🏻❤️

🆘🆘 TRUCKER (ID 266749), 13 YO, MALE – IN QUEENS ACC - came into the shelter as an owner surrender on 9/28/2026, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance - landlord won't allow. 🆘🆘 😿 😿 😿 😿
➡️TBD 11/3/26
➡️ SENIOR ALERT
➡️ MEDICAL PRIORITY – NEEDS MORE CARE AND ATTENTION THAN THE SHELTER CAN PROVIDE –😱😱😱
➡️ TOO LOW ON PLEDGES TO STIMULATE RESCUE INTEREST
➡️🆘🆘 7th Chance on Emergency Placement List – ON BORROWED TIME – SHELTER AT CAPACITY- NOW IS THE TIME TO ACT/HELP TRUCKER - HIGHEST EU/SILENT KILL RISK –🆘🆘 😱🔥🔥😱
➡️ 35 DAYS IN SHELTER – TOO LONG – TIME IS RUNNING OUT
➡️ TRUCKER IS ON THE EPL FOR MEDICAL REASONS - Trucker is a senior cat that has been diagnosed with diabetes and dental disease. He is currently on treatment for diabetes mellitus with an oral medication called Senvelgo. Trucker will need veterinary follow-up to manage his comorbidities. Behaviorally, he can get a bit grumpy with medical handling and will growl occasionally. This evaluation/diagnosis means that TRUCKER will be given very little time for rescue/foster/adoption. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
What my friends at ACC say about me: My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet! Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy! I am a sweet, social, older gentleman, looking for the perfect forever home! I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe. I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me. A volunteer writes: Trucker hasn't had the easiest time as of late, but this cat is all kinds of perfect and resolutely hoping that things will turn his way. He's a diabetic senior who was found and taken in pretty recently but brought to us a few weeks later due to a no pet policy. During Trucker's time in a home, he knew he was loved. Trucker would sit on his guardian's lap and gently paw at their face for more pets. Trucker's still trying to find those cuddles by stretching his paws through the door and calling out invitations to anyone walking nearby. Playful and sweet, he only wants to be included and he's absolutely right to keep trying because, truth be told, Trucker does need to work a tiny bit harder to stand out but stand out he does. He's a bit older and has his medical concerns, but he also has his heart and I think that's enough to make him one of the brightest kitties around. ❤️ 😻❤️ 😻❤️ 😻

❤️💔❤️ A BREAKTHROUGH WITH BEAUTIFUL INDIE ❤️💔❤️💔❤️
Indie has come such a long way in just two weeks. She is truly amazing and so incredibly forgiving. 💔❤️
Humans have been unbelievably cruel to her. She most likely never knew what it felt like to be loved. 💔💔💔
But slowly, and surely, Indie has begun to embrace kind words, gentle touches and little belly scratches. Now, she is absolutely crazy about cuddles! It honestly brings tears to our eyes watching this brave girl learn to trust again.💔💔❤️❤️
Just look at her face. Look at those beautiful eyes. ❤️
Her nose is healing, she's gaining weight, and little by little, she's discovering that the world isn't always a cruel place.
This Fiver Friday is dedicated to you, Indie. ❤️
Just €5 can help us save so many more animals just like Indie. Animals who are suffering, who have been forgotten, and who are desperately waiting for someone to give them a lifeline.
Together, we can give them the second chance they deserve.
Please donate €5 this Fiver Friday. For Indie, and for all the animals still waiting for their happy ending. 💔❤️

Willow is an older whippet around 9yrs & 13kg from China.
She was rescued from the meat trade via @CandyCaneRescue who asked us to help as she has a few health issues and that could not be fixed in China.
Willow is extremely loving and sweet 🥰
So far she’s had a CT scan, x ray, blood tests and her eyes checked.
She had an old break in the leg, nothing to be done.
She’s going blind. Will see eye specialist next.
The CT scan was not entirely conclusive regarding the lump on nose but we are waiting to hear more but looks like a vascular malformation.
Willow needs a loving quiet home. She’s had a rubbish life… let’s share and change that 🙏🏻❤️
Of course any adopter will be supported with any vets bills going forward.
Plz share Willow 🙏🏻❤️
