Tried drawing each one of them while on train. Faceless? I'm bad at drawing faces. #CreativeFreedomSummit #fedoradesignteam

This has been my "downtime" project the last few years! Yes, it *is* a space shooter that runs in a developer's terminal! Yes it *does* have a parallax starfield! *AND*, this project was also the first project to test the design of Spritely Goblins! :)
Episode 52: Terminal Phase: a space shooter that runs in your terminal! fossandcrafts.org/episodes/0… *pew pew pew!* Hear about the making of @dustyweb's side project for the last few years (as well as how you can get your name in the credits... a new release is coming)!

This is definitely a very @mlemweb episode... and van conversion! (I'm not to be trusted to not injure myself around power tools...) We do get in some FOSS'y analogies tho (and I get to talk about my own crafty contribution: homemade dehydrated vegetarian instant meals!)
Episode 51: #vanlife...? fossandcrafts.org/episodes/0… We walk through our (well, @mlemweb's) renovation of a cargo van into a campervan. This is a very crafty episode, but we do work in a few analogies to some FOSS (and open hardware) things!

It's a grey, cold and drizzly day out there, so here's a nice cheerful picture of the yarn I dyed this week. All from three dye pots and plants; woad, weld and madder. These are timeless shades that have been with us since prehistory.

Could episode 50 possibly be more exciting? In the earliest days, @fossandcrafts is how I started talking about Spritely and its aims. Now with the @spritelyinst, things have grown, with real organizational stewardship and an exciting roadmap. We're just getting started!
Episode 50: The Spritely Institute fossandcrafts.org/episodes/0… We talk about recent exciting news about the @spritelyinst, how Spritely has grown from an early research project to a larger organization (with @dustyweb as CTO)! Let's advance decentralized networked communities!
