Dear Sane America,
Yesterday in Times Square, Pamela Cisneros, 49, of Queens, treated Seventh Avenue like an all-you-can-stab buffet. She looked like an over-stuffed burrito waddling around, pulled two kitchen knives out of a Target bag, and in about twenty seconds stabbed a 68-year-old man and then Erin Piacenti, 32. Erin died. The man lived. Cisneros then waddled toward police with both knives still in her hands, ignored every order to drop them, announced she’d rather kill the officers, shrugged off the tasers, and kept coming. So they shot her. And now, this is the part that apparently requires a think-piece...we never have to worry about her stabbing anyone else. Ever. See how easy that is? One afternoon of random murder in the middle of the most filmed intersection on the planet, a four-minute conversation that went nowhere, and then the problem is permanently solved. No ankle monitor. No “she’s struggling with her mental health” press conference six months later after the next victim. Just done.
Now imagine, just imagine....if we treated the rest of them the same way. Imagine we actually locked these people up when they stab strangers, or swing knives at cops, or keep proving they cannot be left around other human beings. Imagine we didn’t release them because the jail is “overcrowded” or because a judge thought a stern talking-to plus a bus token would do the trick. Imagine that when someone is in the middle of killing people in public and refuses to stop, we sometimes just kill them instead of hoping the taser works this time.
The results would be almost comically simple. Fewer people would get stabbed in Times Square. Fewer families would be identifying bodies at Bellevue. Tourists could walk past the ball-drop building without wondering whether the next person with a shopping bag is about to start a collection. Repeat offenders would spend their time in cells instead of back on the street collecting new victims. And the ones who keep coming at police with weapons after they’ve already drawn blood would, occasionally, not get a second chance. It would be boring, really. No more “unprovoked double stabbing” headlines every other month. No more body-cam footage of officers begging someone to drop the knife while civilians scatter. Just a lot of dangerous people sitting in prison, and a much smaller number of them no longer breathing because they chose to keep attacking after they were told to stop.
Apparently that’s the controversial part. Not the part where a woman is dead on the sidewalk because someone decided other people’s lives were optional. The controversial part is the idea that we might actually remove the people who keep doing it. Cisneros doesn’t get to stab anyone else. That’s the whole point. It wasn’t complicated. It wasn’t a failure of social services in that moment. It was a woman who looked like an over-stuffed burrito waddling around Times Square with two knives after she’d already killed someone. They stopped her the only way left. See how easy that is when you stop pretending the alternative is compassion?

“We felt bad for you when the corrupt government burned your house down, but now that we know you think murdering kids is bad, HOW DARE YOU!”
Houston, we have a problem.
Whole generation is cooked.
The request from CBC to not call 9/11 a terrorist attack IS a terror track in its own right. What pieces of crap…
Yesterday we reminded Canadians that @CBCNews refuses to call Hamas a terrorist organization. Today, reports of a leaked memo reveals they are now instructing staff not to call 9/11 a "terrorist attack."
Sanitizing the most infamous acts of terror in modern history as mere "hijackings that led to crashes" is a complete collapse of journalistic standards. Ideology should never replace facts at our national public broadcaster.

We are now at the point where they are blaming Islamic terrorism on America with a full chest.
Islamic terrorism has been around for 1400 years In many forms. America has been a country for 250 years.

America is 250 years old. Our first war was fighting against Islamic terrorism. Which had an 1150 year history by then. America is not the cause of Islamic terrorism. Islam is the cause.

It's actually a really simple argument, David. Illegal aliens can't commit crimes in the U.S. if they aren't released into the U.S. I know that goes against what you advocate for at Cato, which is literal open borders, but perhaps one day you will understand the frustration for families when their loved ones are killed or harmed by somebody who should have never been in the country.
Yes, US citizens of course commit horrible crimes too. Nobody disputes that. I'm not even saying aliens commit more crimes than Americans.
I'm saying Angel families don't want to hear "Americans kill too!!!". They want to know why someone in violation of our nation's laws, which were passed on a bipartisan basis decades ago, is still in the country, and sometimes released over and over and protected by sanctuary laws.
Had laws been enforced, their loved one wouldn't have ever come in contact with the aliens who harmed them. It's that simple.

A university is punishing one of its academics for reporting out a black leftist academic’s plagiarism. This is the tyranny and wickedness of DEI.
Didn’t think I would repost something from Mark Cuban… but it looks like he is coming around to reality. Welcome to the team Mark!
Ro, “in your scenario, the founder could sell to pay a one time 5 percent tax or the state could sell it if he defaults on the loan”
Ro, this is the biggest fuck you in the history of entrepreneurship. Ever.
Creating jobs but don’t have cash. Fuck you
Can’t sell shares, we will sell it for you, to whoever. Fuck you.
Creating jobs. Paying great wages instead of taking cash out yourself. Fuck you
Reinvesting into your company and community. Fuck You.
Don’t you know that Jensen, and Lisa Su, and people who have vast amounts of liquidity already have no problem with it. Fuck You
There is a huge difference between someone with liquidity , running a huge public company, and someone who has dedicated every minute of who knows how many years, to building a company, to finally have a dream financing come true , only to be insulted by a politician. “We will sell your shares for you “

I love this clip. Puts it all on display.
Once you suggest -- as Tucker has at least twice now -- that Ben Shapiro only got into college because of some grand global conspiracy, you have jumped the last shark.
He either can't hear himself, in which case he's a lunatic, or he can hear himself, in which case he's a deceiver on the level of Iago or Grima Wormtongue.
Either way, if you're listening to this guy, you're a mark. Obviously.
Per Tucker Carlson, @benshapiro was "created" by Israel.
"They" got him "into Harvard Law School" & made @realDailyWire successful by getting the company a "deal with Facebook that no one got."
Tucker added that Shapiro's views are actually "the opinions of the people who prop up Ben Shapiro, who created Ben Shapiro. This is what they think."
While Tucker mostly avoided naming "they" — initially calling Shapiro an "employee... of larger interests" — he eventually let the mask slip.
At 2:35 of this clip, Tucker refers to "Ben Shapiro's employer's foreign policy."
While it's possible that Tucker is being even more sinister — that he means "Global Jewry" — the most likely (and only other reasonable) possibility for the "they" is the State of Israel. ("Neocons" in America wouldn't make sense, because they often can't get their own kids into Harvard Law, let alone launch successful businesses.)
Regardless, it is a sign of just how deep Tucker has plunged into the abyss that he believes such an insane theory that Israel (or Global Jewry) "created" Ben Shapiro and manufactured his every success.
The more troubling thing, though, is that Tucker is willing to say it out loud.
But worst of all is that he's not yet hit bottom.
Which means it will only get darker and more bizarre from here.

If they feel Sharia Law is part of their religion, there is separation of church and state here.
If they mean to inject Sharia Law into the legal structure of the United States of America, we have freedom of religion, not freedom of law.
Take that law somewhere else. We don't allow that here.

Hasan Piker says he wants to FLOOD illegals into the United States so they can "f*ck your sisters and daughters" to "destroy the white race"
I am demanding the Democratic Party voice PUBLICLY that they denounce Hasan Piker's comments.
If they don't, let this post be proof that they support every single thing he has ever said.
“We want more immigrants to come into your countries and then they’re gonna f*ck your sisters and then your daughters.”
“We’re here to destroy the White race, b*tch.”

The WNBA exists because men and women are different.
That’s the entire reason the league was created. Now you’re calling people bigots for noticing the same biological reality that made the league necessary in the first place.
Peak self-own.
