it's more difficult to profit on HL, given the fact that you can only do one-way trading on there. on blofin and bitunix, you're able to use hedge mode, meaning can long and short an asset at the same time.
so due to this, have to be much more careful and selective w quotes on HL. mm can be more aggressive on blofin and bitunix, because the strategy is a little different on those exchanges- fills can happen more abundantly w less adverse selection because we're able to just adjust the delta of the hedge as opposed to being locked in one-way directional w/ either add-position or reduce-position orders getting hit

fun story: when i had my minecraft server when i was like 14yr old. it had a few players after a month or two. we made enough $ from donations to pay for advertisement.
so i paid this youtuber named SGCBarbarian $100 to come on and advertise it
he put so much effort into the video. interacted with everybody- it was great. we had a consistent 20 or so players concurrent after
a few years of success goes by
i was back in the market for an advertisement from a youtuber. found a guy with 1m subs
he was charging $5k per ad video. so i sent over the $5k
took him 3 weeks to come on and make a video. i never knew it was done until like a week after the fact. so i found out, watched the video..
this guy with 1 MILLION subs came on my mc server. ran around spawn, tried to break a tree at spawn. entire time he just talked about his first time doing anal with his girlfriend. im not kidding
0 people joined. and i had to close the server shortly after because that was my last attempt at advertising a dying server (it peaked for 3-4 years b4 dying out)
i legit paid $5k for someone to come on, run around for 3 minutes, and talk about anal sex. for 0 gain to me
