This week I’m in Assam, India to visit and learn about @DEFindia’s Internet Roshni project that @ISOC_Foundation has been supporting to bring #meaningfulconnectivity to tea farmers, one of the most marginalized population in the country
And also enabling the communities to access critical digital social and economic services. At one center, I saw how a government representative set up a temporary office for Aadhaar services, the National digital ID system that’s tied to people’s finances, health care,etc
