Police are searching for two women allegedly seen on CCTV using the bank card of murdered 47-year-old Thabani Mgayo.
Mgayo was reported missing on 23 July 2026 and later found murdered. Investigators say his card was used multiple times at shops in Atteridgeville, Pretoria after his disappearance. A white Toyota Hilux with registration FK 35 PS GP was also hijacked during the incident.
Anyone who recognises the women or has information can contact their nearest SAPS station or the SANI Hotline on 081 010 3888. All tips will be treated confidentially.

I have now received full confirmation from the management of #CopperleafGolfCourse that the Chiefs of the South African Air Force, #LieutenantGeneralWisemanSimoMbambo, and the Chief of the South African Army, #LieutenantGeneralLawrenceKhulekaniMbatha, yesterday played golf together with #SAAB Executives at their golf course. They even used a SA Air Force helicopter to land on the golf course! This while our #SANDF soldiers in the DRC are dying, and fighting a desperate struggle for their very lives. One can hardly get more callous and heartless. These are not military commanding officers, they are shameless elite predators! They must resign in shame and disgrace immediately!
