After careful review, we found CA meets 6/6 of our fairness criteria—covering racial equity, public participation, and more. TX on the other hand meets 0/6 criteria. We will always fight for fair maps, fair representation, and people-powered democracy in every state.

This morning, our family had the opportunity to give back to the community, provide support, and honor Dr. King's legacy.   We are thankful to organizations like @ProjAngelFood for their commitment to delivering essential services to survivors of the LA wildfires.

Governor Newsom & Family Volunteer at Food Bank for Wildfire Survivors

The Governor and First Partner helped volunteer efforts at Project Angel Food, supporting survivors of the Los Angeles firestorm.

.@GavinNewsom: "We have 8,400 firefighters working the lines; 16,000 personnel; 2,500 National Guard trying to address the issue of looting; 750 CHP as we speak; we have the EPA starting to do phase one of the debris removal... All of that [rightwing disinformation] is a deep distraction."

When Maya Enista-Smith looked around Lafayette, she saw 3 things: lots of empty storefronts, lots of people with the means to give, and lots of people who could use help. It gave her an idea, one she executed in record speed. #BayAreaProud @nbcbayarea bit.ly/bap0892

Our faith inspires us to protect the natural environment and serve all. The @Dawoodi_Bohras of the #USA are proud to be partnering with @CalVolunteers for a statewide environmental stewardship program. In collaboration, we’ll support multiple Community Climate Action Days (CCAD), assist with the planting of over 3,000 native trees and plants, and promote food waste reduction activities. Through local action and shared purpose, we're honored to lend a hand in helping make our communities better! – at Sacramento, CA

America, here’s what’s happening in your neck of the woods. Last night, I shared the stage with America’s weatherman @AlRoker to describe how @POTUS' ambitious climate agenda is creating good-paying jobs, cleaning up our air, and saving countless lives.
