Amazing. The BBC reports on children being harmed by ‘gender affirming care’ in the NHS and medical whistleblowers being silenced. And it’s a fair report. Times are changing.
Dr Sarah Redvers on @BBCNews this evening about her constructive dismissal employment tribunal case against (what is now) @NHSSurreySussex involving @brightwellbeing over ignored child safeguarding concerns:

Anthropic is offering a 145k salary for a personal assistant in London. Responsibilities include: "Scheduling and managing calendars for leader(s) and their organization" "Building and maintaining organizational systems for tracking and managing inbound requests" "Managing the leader's inbox and communications with precise attention to detail" "Handling travel logistics" Somebody should really build some sort of tech tool that can handle this stuff autonomously.

It is an absolutely grievous, unconscionable decision to allow this to go ahead on a day of profound mourning for Jews; the sorrowful remembrance of massacre, torture, rape, mutilation and abduction; the abuse of free assembly and speech. Suppose a group decided to march with swastika flags down Whitehall on Armistice Day?
I am somewhat baffled by the logic of: a) A march is legally required to provide the name and address of an organiser to police b) No-one has done that here, so...we just have to allow the march to go ahead, then.

In the job I had after this I was in the habit of buying stuff from Cardiff central market during my lunch hour to take home later. Once my manager (now a good mate) said "Nobody will ever tell you not to walk through the office with a bag of leeks, but you shouldn't do it"
I had a manager at work in 2012-ish who hated anyone turning up with hot drinks at all. She had that deep boomer hatred of 'expensive coffees' and it didn't matter that I used to walk past a bakery that would do a lovely coffee for £1

And why did this shop refit, open and close within a couple of weeks, only a month after a restaurant on the same site refitted, opened and closed within not much more than a month. What is going on here ? @MarbleArchLDN @CityWestminster @London_Centric
Edgware Road Shopfront look 👀 Is this an acceptable standard? We have reported to the council planning team. 🌹🌹🌹 We get things done!

Hard to believe this gold diadem is over 2,000 years old. Those little floral rosettes are so beautifully done—ancient craftsmanship really was something else.

New PISA data out England is now top ten in all three areas (reading, maths, science) and the second highest performing country outside of east Asia (after Estonia). This is a huge public policy success.
