feels like watching one of the Lumière brothers clips from the 1880s. in the pace of it all we truly forget how astounding our progress has been in the last 6-7 years.
Will Smith eating spaghetti was just 2-3 years ago, and for many people it was their first exposure to AI video. But if you look back a few more years, to around 2019, the progress looks even more impressive, and Will Smith eating spaghetti starts to look like high definition.

love it when this happens!
i write to build community and i love it when founders reach out to me because they resonated with what i wrote :)
i want to be the kind of vc that founders can brainstorm their ideas with and someone who cares about what they’re building beyond the capital.
i’m still just starting out but this makes it feel worth it!

as someone who’s looking to be a VC associate these posts don’t phase me at all.
if ur working w a great partner that values deal flow from associates and you’re a great associate who has the skill of discernment ur gonna be just fine
the prada hand drawn holiday campaign is the perfect example of human artistry gaining more importance as ai makes it more accessible and replicable than ever.
that’s why being creative and dangerously passionate is the only moat 🤷♀️
i’ve been that girl who LOVED writing since i was kid. i’d always exceed the word counts in school and just keep writing till my hearts content.
i once wrote a small fiction series inspired by the YA world of it all and have been writing songs since i was 5 :))
i managed to keep that alive thru college by being the editor in chief of the college magazine and continue to do so with my substack
reading is so consequential to who i am today as a person. i am a product of the words that moved me. made me better. made me rethink my actions. made me dream.
i can’t wait for humans to leave ai/tiktok slop behind and embrace long form written context again.
i am glad to have written essays about two of these things!
agtech - i can’t stress on how important it’s going to be as we approach food scarcity due to multiple reasons.
software for agents - i wrote about this specifically in consumer space as to how that is a big blocker in actual adoption of consumer agents beyond initial novelty.
linked both in comments :)
YC is literally telling where are they going to deploy money
1. Company Brain: turn company rules into skills AI agents can run
2. Software for Agents: build for agents, not humans
3. AI-native services: sell the work, not the tool
4. SaaS Challengers: rebuild legacy software AI-native
5. Inference chips: silicon built for agent workloads
6. Counter-swarm defense: stop drone swarms cheaply
7. Chip supply chain 2.0: modern tooling for semiconductor logistics
8. AI for farming: fewer pesticides, more food
Which one are you building?

got to publish a piece in entech online, a stem magazine read by 500K+ young students!!
i love how putting your work out there has multiplicative rewards!
Replying to @salesforce
@salesforce is buying @Braze at $47.50/share so i pulled the 2021 S-1 to see who got the biggest share of the pie🧵
meanwhile anyone who bought the IPO at $65 is down 27%. the money was made way before the public got a shot
ai doing people’s jobs is going to create one of society’s greatest re-orientation of what worth and work mean.
this could be a renaissance for the humanities and questions around what our purpose is.
i agree that we’re so much more than our work but we / society give a lot of significance to what work means to our self importance.
read my messy thoughts here :)
