I have never seen a corporate campaign try so hard as Justin Bieber x Tim Horton's.

The Maple Leafs and Senators are playing in front of 500 fans. The Canucks can play in front of 9,000. This will be until at least mid February. #canucks #bcpoli

Gyms should be reopened. I run the Cardiac Rehab program for the North Shore (large gym space) and we’ve stayed open (essential service) with mitigation protocols to keep a very high risk group safe. It can be done. Fitness is essential for health. Don’t tell me Costco is safer.

Dix on the province's pandemic policies: "In B.C. we follow the science." I mean literally every province says this. Every province interprets the science differently, based on different values., and does things on different timelines. SCIENCE is not a shield

I felt this one in my bones: “It is glaringly obvious to the Panel that February 2020 was a lost month, when steps could and should have been taken to curtail the epidemic and forestall the pandemic."

It takes a lot of privilege to “not be political.” Just focusing on your work without worrying about what’s going on in the world is a luxury that many don’t have. Even calling systemic and societal injustices “political” is a tool to minimize some of our biggest problems.

#GenXZeneca jokes on twitter are top notch generational humour. You'll only get most of the jokes if you took OAC courses in high school. teapawt.net/search?q=%23GenXZeneca…

Just incredible failure of democracy right here.
BC Emergency Health Services responded to 138 potential overdoses yesterday – highest number of such calls ever. Vancouver, 45; Surrey, 17; Victoria, 10; all across province. Meanwhile Island Health warning of increase in ODs in Victoria, Nanaimo, Comox Valley, Campbell River.

Can attest to this as my spouse spent his night attending to these OD’s as a first responder in YYJ. He & crew did this without the critical PPE of COVID vaccination, not eligible bc our provincial govt deems them not part of the healthcare system 🤔
