Today, Ambassador Isaiya Kabira, Secretary-Investments and Entrepreneurship, representing PS @roselinenjogu, opened and graced a training session on diaspora engagement through diaspora mapping in Naivasha sub-county, Nakuru County.
The training, led by the International Organization for Migration- @IOMKenya, involving the State Department for Diaspora Affairs, State Department for Immigration Services and line agencies drawn from the Ministry of Interior and National Administration, seeks to build and strengthen capacity of @Diaspora_KE on diaspora mapping.
βThe knowledge acquired will be crucial for developing targeted engagement strategies and programs that empower our diaspora communities to contribute meaningfully to Kenya's national development,β Amb. Kabira said
The IOM-Kenya through their representative said that the training is a formidable foundation to strengthen ties with the diaspora, foster mutual understanding about the composition of the diaspora, and create avenues for a prosperous and a global-competitive diaspora community. #DiasporaFirst
