I noticed 1607 depart this morning with an unusual callsign (Rocky). Curious if this was, perhaps, an operational mission so I kept an eye on it but it stopped transmitting after going feet wet. .

Holy shit.
There’s only one real victim here…and that’s me. I don’t understand how anyone could say I followed them when I was already in the right lane..heading to Chiloso. The young adult was to my right, and his friend was behind me just before we went through the light. As soon as the light turned green, he hit the gas and cut right in front of me. I wasn’t upset... But when I turned right into Chiloso, his buddy hit the brakes and stopped his car. The friend who had been behind me sped around me to get in front of him. The guy who later said he would shoot me got out of the car, apparently to mess with his friend. I leaned out the window and told them to stop driving recklessly before they hurt somebody. After that, I drove around them looking for a parking spot. The guy who had threatened to shoot me pulled up beside me, said he was going to shoot me, then hit the gas, parked, and jumped out of the car talking shit. I started talking shit back. He said, “I got something for you,” and went back to his car as if he were about to get a gun. I told him, “If you pull that gun, you better use it, because otherwise I’m about to beat your ass.” He went from threatening to shoot me to recording me on his phone. I slapped the phone out of his hand, and he called the police right after that. Honestly, I’m waiting to hear the recording where someone supposedly called and said there was a gun involved. As soon as the officers arrived, the young adult and I were talking trash back and forth. I don’t understand why the officer got out of the car and pointed a rifle directly at me. A lot of y’all need to use your brains..Why would I follow them? They’re not important to me. Stay tuned..my team and I are going to get to the bottom of this…

In 1923, a U.S. deputy marshal, Frank B. "Pistol Pete" Eaton, headed Stillwater's Armistice Day Parade. At the parade's end, the search for a new mascot was over. The spirited image of the tough cowboy has served as a symbol for #okstate ever since. Happy birthday to Frank Eaton, the original Pistol Pete!

This reminds me of the violinists who were told to keep playing in the atrium of the titanic while it was sinking. .

The U.S. military has developed strike plans that include potentially using the GBU-43B Massive Ordnance Air Blast (MOAB) bomb, known as the “mother of all bombs,” against Iranian energy infrastructure and nuclear sites, according to multiple U.S. officials who spoke to CNN. It would be the first use of the weapon in the Iran war. No order has been given and the plans are options should President Trump order combat to resume, before or after the midterms. The MOAB is the largest non-nuclear bomb in the U.S. arsenal. It weighs 21,600 pounds, is GPS guided and explodes above ground for a wide blast. One source said Trump ordered strike packages including “a lot of energy infrastructure” and a potential MOAB, worded as coming “prior to US retrograde in CENTCOM AOR,” a military term for withdrawing forces. A second source said plans for nuclear sites, including Pickaxe Mountain, explicitly call for it. CNN says the U.S. and Israel believe Iran stored nuclear program components there. The White House said it does not comment on sensitive military plans that “may or may not exist” and that Trump “keeps all options on the table.” The Pentagon said it plans for a wide range of scenarios. The U.S. last used the MOAB in 2017 against ISIS tunnels in Afghanistan. Afghan officials said it killed 36 fighters. Source: cnn.com/2026/10/15/politics/…

After sitting on the game for around 24 hours, here are my takeaways from West Virginia's lost to Oklahoma State. 1. West Virginia does not have answers for players like Drew Mestemaker, Wyatt Young, and Caleb Hawkins. They were outmatched. 2. Solutions have to be found on defense. Too many missed tackles, subpar pass coverage, and very little pass rush. That won't cut it in Big 12 play. 3. This isn't the end of the world. West Virginia still on track for a winning season, and have several winnable games coming up. 6 wins should still be the floor, and 8 wins isn't out of the question if you solve your problems. 4. That was one of the best environments at Milan Puskar Stadium in years, and an important first step and making Morgantown a place opponents fear playing again. The importance of that can't be overstated. – at Star City, WV
