Happy New Year to everyone who still believes in Web3 gaming. 2025 was a strong year for us. Even as a small indie studio, we delivered on many of the milestones we set out to achieve. 2026 is already shaping up to be an even more exciting year for what we’re building. While the Web3 gaming market remains challenging right now, our conviction hasn’t changed, we still believe it is the future of gaming. We’re still here. Still building.

Mythya’s Citadel Skins are coming out better than expected. The art is getting really beautiful, and it’s not just “skin for skin sake.” In Mythya, every new Citadel Skin unlocks a whole new collection layer. It adds more depth, more identity, and more value to how players build their realm. It’s not only about how your citadel looks… it’s about what it represents in the world. Mythya is currently the only MMORTS with a true open economy. Citadel skins, artifacts, and other in-game assets will live inside a player-driven system, where they can actually hold value and create liquidity through tokenisation. Great art creates demand. Open economy creates liquidity. That’s the direction we’re building Mythya, something different, and something that can scale.
Citadel skins in Mythya are not just visuals, each skin comes with real buffs that affect how your city performs, from growth speed to combat advantages. The right skin can directly influence how fast you progress and how strong your realm becomes. These skins also play an important role in Mythya’s open economy. They hold value, create demand, and add another layer to the player-driven market. Your citadel is not just your base building, it’s part of the wider economic system. Today, we introduced a new Citadel Skin inspired by the Khemeth faction, giving players a fresh visual identity and new strategic options for their cities. In Mythya, how your citadel looks, how it performs, and how it holds value are all connected.

This year has seen a wave of shutdowns across the Web3 gaming landscape. Studios at every stage; both well-funded and lean have been forced to scale back or close, and it’s clear the sector is no longer riding the “golden touch” narrative it once had. Even so, we remain confident that Web3 gaming is inevitable. Turning in-game items into true digital assets can unlock new forms of capital and liquidity, creating real utility that extends beyond entertainment into broader consumer and digital economy use cases. We’re still here, an independent, bootstrapped studio building a high-quality 3D MMORTS, with our Closed Beta Test currently live.

Last year, Mythya was just a 2D RTS game being built by a small, self-funded indie studio with one clear goal: to create the best web3 MMORTS. Today, @playmythya has evolved into a full 3D mobile RTS with multiple factions, powerful commanders, immersive environments, artifacts, skill systems, combat, gathering, and much more. This transformation was driven by pure passion and grit. With the Mythya CBT now live, the progress has been incredible. We truly believe Mythya is on track to change the MMORTS space in both web3 and web2 gaming as the only MMORTS with an open economy. This is just the beginning.
While we're still working on @playmythya development and integration, the current version is already a blast to play. Spent last night organizing my city, and it's a joy! The next update will introduce wood, stone, and gold tracks for even more stunning city layouts. First release will be exclusive to $MORRA token holders, featuring City Design events with chances to win $MORRA rewards!

Honestly, Mythya already feels like a full game, even in CBT. It’s easily the best Web3 MMORTS I’ve played so far, nothing else really comes close.

Wrapping up November with Mythya CBT is a milestone we’re incredibly proud of. This journey has come with its fair share of challenges, long nights, and tough decisions but all of it is worth it when we see players finally stepping into the world we’ve been building and sharing thoughtful and meaningful feedback. Yes, Mythya still has bugs, that’s the reality of any early build. December will be fully dedicated to polishing the experience: fixing bugs, improving animations, and refining key features to ensure the game feels smoother and more immersive. Beyond that, development for the Mythya World Map and PvP systems is already underway. 2026 is going to be a defining and eventful year for our community and the entire Mythya universe. Thank you for your unwavering support and happy gaming.

The past few weeks have been hectic, but we never stopped building. Now that everything is back on track, I’m happy to share that the authentication issue on Mythya has been completely resolved. Optimisation is ongoing to ensure the game runs smoothly even on mobile devices with less than 8GB RAM. Commander UI has been fully revamped for a more refined experience, the system for exchanging universal shards to specific commander shards for skill upgrades has been implemented, and new animations for workers in villages and for troops are being integrated. Mythya’s Closed Beta Test is very close with a solid lineup of features designed to keep our community deeply engaged. On another exciting note, Mythya’s TOTEM NFT whitelist has now surpassed 30,000 registered users, with only 2,000 total supply available. This means interest has far exceeded supply, and we will be taking careful consideration when allocating spots to ensure that those who will genuinely support and contribute to the growth of the game receive priority. The whitelist is still open for those who haven’t yet registered their interest. Now’s the time to join the journey before we begin the next chapter of Mythya. Mythya’s CBT is fast approaching, and we’re genuinely excited about what’s coming together. In this build, players will be able to manage over 12 buildings within their territory. A balanced mix of economy and military structures that form the core of their progression. Each building has a distinct role in the growth of your realm, from workers hiring and resources storage to troop training and upgrades. In addition to your main territory, three more buildings can be managed in each conquered zone. These conquered territory structures play a crucial part in maintaining your resource flow and overall strategy. If left unattended, they can slow down your economy or even fall into enemy hands, impacting your control over the region. We’ve put a lot of effort into making the CBT not just functional but deeply enjoyable something that feels like a full-launch experience rather than an early test. The goal has been to ensure that every system: building, upgrading, conquering feels smooth, rewarding, and worth your time.

Super proud of how far Karnak Legacy and Mythya have come! Zero funding but building real quality games, all through pure grind and passion. Been bootstrapping 2 mobile games since Q4 2023, and we can’t wait to finally ship what we’ve been cooking.

As a MMORTS, thousands of players will command vast armies in real-time battles for dominance over resources and territory in @playmythya. But when each player can field thousands of troops, displaying every single unit is not practical, especially on mobile. That’s why Mythya uses smart visual optimization. Instead of showing all 5,000 soldiers, you only see a few elite units representing their combined strength, giving players the sense of scale without sacrificing performance. In massive wars where over hundreds of players clash at once, the system adapts even further, showing only the commander and flagbearer leading their forces into battle. This keeps the action smooth and strategic, even as hundreds of thousands of troops fight beneath the banners of their realms.

Of the 177 countries Mythya’s pre-registration was opened to, we got signups from 98 countries. No marketing, no pre-registration rewards, no airdrop, yet a few thousand players have signed up to play Mythya. Russia tops the chart with the most registrations, followed by the United States, Indonesia, India, Türkiye, and Brazil. Others include the Philippines, Germany, the UK, Poland, and many more. This week, we’ll begin setting up Mythya on Play Store and Apple TestFlight again, focusing first on our community members, Totem holders, and the top 30 countries on our pre-registration list. Super excited for what’s coming.

In 4X RTS games, resources are the foundation of progression, and players are always seeking ways to acquire more in order to accelerate their growth. At Morra Games, we recognize the importance of striking the right balance between challenge and accessibility. Originally, our design required players to defeat enemies to gather resources outside their cities. While this created tension and excitement, it also risked slowing down early development. To address this, we refined the system: players can now collect a base level of free resources without combat, ensuring steady growth and smoother progression. At the same time, the most valuable treasures and lucrative resource nodes remain guarded, rewarding players who take on greater risks in battle. This approach allows us to maintain meaningful challenges while ensuring that players never feel stuck in their development. It’s part of our ongoing commitment to make Mythya not just another 4X RTS, but one that actively solves pain points players face in the genre, creating a more engaging and sustainable gameplay experience.
In Mythya, resources are everything and the ways to earn them are endless. You can gather from your own city, produce from conquered villages, or explore hostile regions. Gathering in hostile regions is the most rewarding because players can collect not only resources but also special treasures. These zones are called hostile territories because players must first defeat NPCs before gaining access to the resources. This challenge not only rewards them but also helps them grow stronger as they prepare for the open world. Designing Mythya’s gameplay was not an easy task for me as the lead game designer. As a hardcore 4X RTS player, I made sure Mythya included many features I always wished other games in the genre had. Mythya was born out of love for the 4X RTS genre and the desire to fix many of the problems that I and many other players have long faced in these games.

Gaming is a $200B industry, larger than music and film combined. Titles like Fortnite generate up to $3B annually, while others consistently earn hundreds of millions every month. To put this into perspective, excluding Circle and Tether, no blockchain protocol generates monthly revenues on par with the well performing games. Web2 or Web3, gaming is part of the same global entertainment market. It is not a fleeting narrative, it is one of the most enduring forms of digital culture. Unfortunately, the sector has often been misrepresented by bad actors and “DeFi projects” that call themselves gaming but operate more like financial instruments than actual entertainment experiences. Over the past 18 months, we’ve taken a different approach. Bootstrapped and focused, we have refined core gameplay, evolved our mechanics, and built a reward system that is both sustainable and revenue-generating, without PvP extractions that exploit players or reliance on new entrants to fuel a Ponzi-like structure. With Karnak Legacy and Mythya, we are building games designed to compete directly with top studios in their genres. We believe open economies will become the norm in gaming, and we are positioning ourselves to be among the forerunners leading this transition. Gaming is not a narrative. Gaming is entertainment, and we are building for the billions that play.
Top 15 Mobile Games with the highest revenue in August 2025. Compared to July, the month featured a mix of stability at the very top and some reshuffling across the middle and lower half of the chart. 🔗gamingonphone.com/news/top-1…

Karnak Legacy is not a web3 PUBG or Call of Duty, it’s bigger, bolder, and built differently. The first-ever steampunk Egypt extraction royale, where survival meets strategy in a high-stakes FPS. A brand new world. A fresh style of gameplay. A first of its kind experience on mobile. In-engine footage
.@playmythya is exciting, and so is @karnakmobile. We’re all going to be building powerful cities and extracting legendary scrolls soon.

First unedited gameplay since the map expansion and our upgrade to Unity 6.2! The environment looks way better than we expected, building placement feels super smooth, and you can actually see troops training inside the barracks now. Zooming in really shows off the details, and the whole map is wrapped in fog until you capture sentry towers to unlock new zones. Still a bit of optimization to do (noticed some FPS drops even on a powerful device), plus more SFX and VFX work ahead, but overall performance is already great. We’re confident this is shaping up to be one of the best 5X build-and-battle RTS games with an open economy. Long video, but totally worth the watch.
Downloading the first Mythya build since the upgrade to Unity 6.2 I'm excited to start showing lots of gameplay soon. Community testing phase is up next.

P2E is a core element of Web3 gaming that can not be erased. Unfortunately, many teams implemented it poorly, turning it into a “job” rather than a reward for time and contribution to the platform. The most sustainable model is one that rewards players with both in-game assets and tokens, built on top of a solid monetization system. This approach ensures that rewards feel meaningful without undermining the game economy. We have developed a sustainable P2E framework fully integrated with our monetization model, designed to benefit both players and the long-term health of the game.

When a VC asked us, “How many games have you killed?”, it struck at the heart of what resilience and maturity in game development mean. Killing projects is not a sign of failure, but of discipline. The ability to go through cycles of trial and error, recognize when something is not the right fit, and pivot before wasting years of effort and capital. For investors, this shows adaptability and focus. In late 2023, we made the difficult decision to end Metalands, a PC shooter we spent two years developing and one of Web3’s first of shooter game. We didn’t kill it because it was weak, in fact, fewer than 6 PC shooters currently in existence could truly compete with it. We killed it because we saw a greater opportunity: extraction royale on mobile. This market segment was underserved in web3, yet mobile commands over half the global gaming market. From that decision, Karnak Legacy was born, with richer mechanics, an innovative design, and a platform that’s accessible to the largest pool of players. In early 2024, we also ended Mythya’s 2D version, a project we had spent months refining. The pivot gave way to today’s Mythya: the world’s first 3D build & battle RTS, with immersive environments and depth far beyond the original concept. Today, we stand with two battle-tested products. We chose the harder path, ending ideas that would not stand the test of time to focus on building the ones that could redefine the future of web3 gaming. By bootstrapping, iterating, and making bold decisions, we’ve positioned ourselves not just to launch games, but to create a new wave in the industry.

After 17+ months of development, we believe it’s time to let our community experience what we’ve been building with Mythya. We’ve consistently showcased gameplay videos, not cinematics because we want players to see the real game they’ll be playing at launch. As we approach the last quarter of 2025, we’re excited to share our roadmap toward Mythya’s global launch. Community Phase – Late Q3 / Early Q4 2025 This phase will onboard our core community to test key features: faction selection, building and upgrades, worker hiring, commanders, research, troop training, village conquest, resource production, quest system, and combat. While some areas may remain unpolished (SFX/UI), this phase is exclusively for the community with no monetization. Access will be limited to $MORRA token holders (with required threshold), TOTEM minters (guaranteed whitelist users), and engaged Discord members with enough points. Join our discord server to earn points Soft Launch – Late Q4 2025 Soft Launch marks the first time Mythya becomes available to the wider public. This phase introduces significant new features that expand beyond the Community Phase. Players will gain access to the Sanctum of Fire, where powerful mechanics and progression begin to unfold. Over 35 unique Artifacts will be available, adding depth to strategy and gameplay. For the first time, basic worldmap will go live, starting with Sanctum unlock battles. To enrich the commander system, four additional commanders inspired by Norse and Mayan civilizations will be introduced. The playermap will also expand with Mountain Villages and the Ice Altar, creating new challenges and resources to capture. Soft Launch will also activate monetization for the first time through the Mythical Pass and introduce initial Play-to-Earn mechanics. Importantly, this phase will be open to everyone, giving the global community their first hands-on experience with Mythya’s live economy, leaderboard and large-scale systems. Post Soft Launch Expansion – Late Q1 2026 After the excitement of Soft Launch, this phase focuses on strengthening Mythya’s long-term gameplay systems. The highlight will be the introduction of the Alliances/Guilds system, enabling players to form groups, collaborate, and compete on a larger scale. To support this expansion, three new commanders will be added, further diversifying playstyles and strategies. Community-driven events will begin here, starting with the first Mini Event: Divine Fire Wars, where alliances will compete for glory and rewards. To prepare for global reach, Localization Phase 1 will roll out, adding support for Chinese, Korean, and Arabic players. Monetization will also expand with additional options such as resource packs and altar rerolls, offering more progression flexibility while still balancing fair play. This phase ensures Mythya grows from a strong game into a connected and competitive global ecosystem. Early Access – Q2 2026 Early Access represents Mythya’s global launch in an extended live environment. It is designed to stress-test all systems, polish gameplay, and scale the player base. This phase will unlock two entirely new factions: Valdyrheim and Kukulthar, bringing the total to five factions available to players. Each faction introduces new commanders, troops, and strategic possibilities. The Artifact system will expand further with 5–10 additional unique Artifacts, each designed to reshape combat and long-term strategy. The highly anticipated Seasonal Alliance vs. Alliance Wars will begin preparation here, setting the stage for large-scale battles between player-led guilds. To support worldwide adoption, Localization Phase 2 will add Portuguese, French, and Turkish, opening Mythya to even broader audiences. In Early Access, all player zones will be unlocked, allowing players to experience the full scale of Mythya’s world. This stage will continue until Mythya is fully stable, feature-complete, and ready for Global Full Launch. It will serve as the proving ground to ensure Mythya is robust, balanced, and capable of supporting millions of players. Our roadmap extends to Q4 2026, setting the stage for Mythya to become a major contender in the 4X RTS genre and the first full 3D5X build & battle RTS of its kind. Note: While we aim to deliver on schedule, external factors such as technical challenges, regulations, or market conditions may impact timelines.
