This cat won't walk on blankets because he doesn't trust it's solid underneath. He always sits on the arm of a chair or the back of the sofa to get love. This is the first time in 16 years he has got on my lap. 💜

People from Ireland are trying to explain to this American lady why Derry had virtually no inward immigration in the 90s and she is actually arguing back with them, Yanks man.
No one said this shit about Derry Girls which was actually was CASTED like that and was not that long ago
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Derry Girls is set during the 1990s, when Northern Ireland was an active warzone and had a 98% white population. Several episodes reference the fact no one wants to come there, or show the girls’ microaggressions to other races/nationalities, such as Chinese and Ukrainian. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Demograph… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Derry_Gir… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Troub…

That rubber ball bouncing down the stairs in THE CHANGELING (1980) is one of the simplest, most chilling moments in horror.

This was on TV all the time when I was a kid. Always late at night: 1972's Emmy Award-winning La Cabina (The Telephone Box), from Spanish director Antonio Mercero. Even edited, once seen, it stays with you forever. 🎃📞😱

Well here’s an incredible fact for the day we turn back time. This naval gun, being straddled by Cher in the video to If I Could Turn Back Time, is the same naval gun also pictured here, as the Japanese sign the declaration of unconditional surrender, formally ending WW2.

Someone on here said their kid called torrential rain "horrential rain" and my family adopted that. This is very cute and accurate too.
Just overheard a tiny little girl on the street saying the weather is getting “puddlier and puddlier” and that’s the new word for this year.

It's funny that people think cats aren't intelligent enough to do tricks. My cat walks into the bathroom, meows once, and my husband comes running to turn on the faucet for her. She trained him to do this.

The ones who are the sickest of the sick, the ones who are “choosing” euthanasia, are not in a position to go on Celebrity Traitors to explain how “fatiguing illnesses” work.
