An MIT math professor taught the same linear algebra course so clearly that the free recordings became one of the most watched university math classes on the internet, and most students who need the subject still never open them.
His name is Gilbert Strang.
The course is MIT 18.06. The Spring 2005 lectures are free on MIT OpenCourseWare and on YouTube as a full playlist. Problem sets, exams, and lecture notes sit next to the videos.
Strang's style is the opposite of a textbook wall. He talks through matrices the way a good coach talks through a play: one idea at a time, with the reason attached.
> What a matrix actually does to a vector
> Why eigenvalues are not a party trick
> How least squares hides inside almost every data problem
> When to stop computing and start seeing the picture
Linear algebra sits under machine learning, graphics, engineering, and economics. People pay for bootcamps to learn a soft version of it.
The original MIT lectures are free.
Most people will never press play.
Are you more of a "watch the lecture" learner or a "read the notes" learner? Reply A or B.
One Musk is worth thousands of Galloways.
Scott Galloway calls Elon Musk a โtraitor to the Westโ and invokes the Rosenbergs, who were EXECUTED after WWII.
GALLOWAY: โWe took the Rosenbergs and put them up against a wall and executed them for being traitors.โ
โAnd I realize this is an incendiary statement, but Iโll make it and I believe it. I think Elon Musk is a traitor to the West.โ
โIf this had happened in any other age where we were not obsessed with innovators and money, a much different reaction would be playing out to Elon Musk.โ
These people are absolutely unhinged.
CONTEXT: Scott Galloway is not some random but a bestselling author with a top podcast who regularly appears on cable news. His net worth is over $100 million, and heโs openly suggesting Musk deserves death.
This is what the Democratic Party has become, and people voted for it.

This is what happens when there is zero oversight from New York State at commercial ORES solar complexes.
The corporations behave as you imagine theyโd behave. And since most are foreign and bring in out of state and out of country labor, they donโt have any emotional connection to the land they are destroying.
The result? Missing topsoil, cleared forests with comingled timber from participating parcels, broken solar panels, and destroyed viewsheds and history in our Upstate NY villages.

Got the call very late in the evening so all I had was my bike. He'd been dumped and no longer wanted as a senior dog.
He only weighs 4lbs so I called him Hercules. Hoping that we can turn his life around and put a little smile on that worried face of his.
Public colleges need to be free because education is so poor in the lower grades that kids start university without basic knowledge. Universal child care will be poor quality, assembly-line. No thanks.
๐บ๐ธ Bernie Sanders on the changes he foresees for America after the midterms:
"The American people want a tax on billionaires so that we can have universal child care, we can make public colleges tuition-free, and we can build millions of units of low-income and affordable housing.
It's time that the billionaire class, many of whom pay an effective tax rate lower than a truck driver, start paying their fair share of taxes."

I don't get asked for ID when I vote (in NJ), but I certainly had to prove my citizenship when I registered. Everyone should have been vetted properly.
INSANE ๐จ Here are the top 20 states that had the most new valid voter registrations between 2022-2024 WITHOUT PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP (3 of them are Swing States)
California: 4,308,269โจTexas: 2,900,357โจNorth Carolina: 1,410,905โจFlorida: 1,337,303โจIllinois: 981,482โจPennsylvania: 842,187โจNew York: 680,259โจAlabama: 572,632โจVirginia: 563,781โจMaryland: 524,189โจWisconsin: 524,103โจColorado: 498,308โจWashington: 473,192โจMassachusetts: 465,616โจMissouri: 460,197โจNew Jersey: 425,782โจOklahoma: 388,669โจConnecticut: 386,014โจLouisiana: 263,705โจArkansas: 246,974
North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin are swing states and have high numbers of new voter registrations without proof of citizenship
This data comes from the Official Election Administration and Voting Comprehensive Report buried on page 192 and 193 of the document
This is highly suspicious

Good read
I started looking into โcitizensโ assembliesโ after seeing Data Republicanโs Democracy Files. What I found is a coordinated push to treat small, lottery-selected groups as more legitimate than elected legislatures or ordinary voters, and to convert their recommendations into law.

๐งต THREAD: The true reason Pete Hegseth is being targeted is because he's standing between President Trump and a coup
@PeteHegseth named the institutions... CFR, Brookings, the general class... in 37 seconds in a video by @Liz_Wheeler . Within 72 hours of his nomination, a color revolution planning document cited him as an insider threat.
They didn't go after him because of drinking. They didn't go after him because of women. They went after him because every color revolution manual ever written says the same thing: you cannot topple a government unless the security forces defect. And a loyal Secretary of Defense is the one person who makes sure they don't.
I have the receipts. Their own documents. Their own training sessions. Their own words on camera.
As always, patience as I pull together the thread. ๐

In Fahrenheit 451, the chief book-burner, Captain Beatty, describes how reading became obsolete because the public demanded increasingly fast-paced entertainments, and those entertainments slowly corroded their ability to think. โBooks cut shorter. Condensations. Digests, tabloids. Everything boils down to the gag, the snap ending. Classics cut to fit fifteen-minute radio shows, then cut again to fill a two-minute book column โฆ Many were those whose sole knowledge of Hamlet was a one-page digest in a book that claimed, โNow at last you can read all the classics.โ โฆ School is shortened, discipline relaxed, philosophies, histories, languages dropped, English and spelling gradually neglected, finally almost completely ignored. Life is immediate, the job counts, pleasure lies all about after work. Why learn anything save pressing buttons, pulling switches?โ
In this passage Ray Bradbury foretells the intellectual hollowing out of the working class, the advent of AI-generated โsummariesโ of classic novels, the attention-frying culture of short-form video, the relaxation of educational standards into non-existence. All of this in a book published in 1953.

Rural conservatives in deep-blue states are effectively governed without consent. In New York, Republicans win most counties yet still lose statewide by 20 points because dense urban and suburban voters in New York City and its suburbs cast the decisive ballots and vote overwhelmingly Democratic. The result is that rural and upstate communities pay the taxes, live under the regulations, and absorb the costs set by politicians they consistently reject. Same story in California and Illinois. Population density has become a veto over the rest of the state.

The ruminant family, and the one job each of them does that nothing else on earth can.
The cow turns a wet hillside into beef and milk, and leaves the soil better than she found it.
The sheep grows a fireproof, waterproof, compostable coat every year, out of grass and rain, and then gives it away for the price of a haircut.
The goat eats the bramble, the scrub and the invasive weed that strangles everything else, and asks only for a weak point in the fence.
The water buffalo makes the milk that becomes real mozzarella, standing in marsh a cow would sink in.
The yak gives milk at an altitude that would kill a lowland animal in a week, and carries your bags up there as well.
The reindeer feeds and clothes entire peoples above the Arctic Circle, on lichen and moss, in the dark, for months.
The bison built the deepest soil on the planet by walking across it and eating.
Seven animals, one gift each, and not one of them can be replaced by a crop, a machine or a sachet.
Every one of them is classed, this decade, as a liability on a spreadsheet by somebody who has never been cold.
