“Defense is just effort. I just go out there and try to play as hard as I can. I’m a big body, so I’ve got to use my body in the best way I can, and getting boards is one of the things I can do very well.”

Super pumped about Iman Oates!
Dude has absolutely grinded and he's really good. You're gonna be hearing more and more of his name, write that down.
He was the 5A Defensive Player of the Year his Senior year at Tulsa Edison, went to NEO, then came to OSU and redshirted last year.
Dude turned some heads though in practice and was awarded the defensive practice player of the week last year in the Kansas week.
Oates is the type of guy that Coach Clements knows how to maximize, mark my words on that, so stay tuned!
3 tackles yesterday, many more to come! #GoPokes #OkState
happy birthday @igobylando ✨Ⓜ️
