Google's API leak revealed the "matchedScore" attribute, the magic backlink 1) Google sees 100 suspicious links and labels then spam 2) Google sees 100 sus links + one TRUSTED link w/ similar anchor text and trusts *all of them* Perhaps why big sites get away with spammy links

INTERESTING! Bing Webmaster Tools is once again leading the charge: you can now see topics you're being cited for, how often they're cited and related grounding queries. This is the closest we have to classic search data. Your turn, Google!

Using Claude to try to influence AI responses? This is a great catch by @HannsKronenberg and @MattGSouthern: @AnthropicAI updated its Usage Policy a few days ago (announced Oct 8, takes effect Nov 12) A new section bans using Claude to: ❌ Seed the sources that search engines and AI tools pull answers from with content that hides who wrote it or who's behind it (their example: networks of sites posing as independent sources backing the same claims) 👀👀 ❌ Push content through networks of fake or "independent" sites to hide that it comes from one source 👀👀 ❌ Build or sell tools that do any of this (!!) The previous version (Sept 2025) *didn't mention search engines or AI answers at all.* Fake reviews and fake personas were already banned. The penalty is losing access to Claude. Feels a lot like the early days of Google’s spam policies!

Whoa, GSC is now telling site owners how many people are adding them as 'Preferred sources'. Just received a flurry of emails from Google. This would be cool to see *IN GSC*. :)

Another victim in our War on Expensive Software: Teachable. 🪦 They raised our price from $148 a month to $1,000. Almost 7x!! (Funny part: I invested in them) Our COO built our own version instead. Her FIRST app ever. Took her 2 days. All 152 lessons of our course run on it now. Raise prices 7x and your customers learn to code.

i built a jev review machine (it’s better than any market research tool you can find) give it a product or competitor and it goes through thousands of reviews across app stores, reddit, amazon, g2 and more then it pulls out the stuff that actually matters → why people buy → why they churn → what features they keep asking for → recurring pain points → the exact phrases customers use instead of throwing 10,000 reviews into one prompt, jev reads them individually, extracts the signals, groups them into themes and ranks them by frequency, intensity and recency so the output is not just a summary it becomes a full product + marketing brief you can see: → which complaints are growing → what users love most → what they wish existed → where competitors are weak the competitor side is probably the best part 1–3 star reviews become a churn map showing why people leave and what you could build or position around it can also turn real customer language into hooks, ad angles, positioning and product priorities rt + comment “reviews” and i’ll send the full framework + build guide (follow for dm)

I just vibe-coded a B2B SaaS instead of buying it, because the salesperson insisted on a meeting before sending me the price. Have seen @levelsio write about this and now I experienced it myself. A salesperson reached out to me on LinkedIn about a platform that uses Apple + Google Wallet to boost webinar show-up rates. Super smart. We have 20,000 webinar attendees a year at Obsidian, so I wanted to buy it. I asked for the price. The answer: the fastest way to get one was to book a meeting. I replied "I don't do calls" and asked them to just send the price so I could buy. They totally understood, but I still needed a meeting. So I asked AI to build it into Obsidian's own marketing system (also made by AI and replaced our 4k EUR monthly monday dot com subscription). About an hour later, I had a working prototype in Google Wallet. Apple Wallet is ready too, just waiting on 1–3 days of verification. Price of their software: no idea, but I would have bought it for $100 monthly immediately if I could. Price of ours: 1 hour with AI while watching Toy Story 5 with the kids, plus $99 a year for an Apple Developer account. Google was free. Always envied people who sell b2b saas, but not right now.

I built a zero-person AI newsletter business that did $2,000+ in revenue last month. No team. No payroll. No freelancers. Just 4 AI agents running the entire operation (and I spend less than 4 hours a week on it). Here's how the system works: → A CEO agent sets the vision and orchestrates every hire → A Growth Engineer scrapes local news, Reddit, and event venues into a daily JSON database → A Content Director reads that database, curates the best events, and writes every Thursday newsletter in my voice → A Sales Director fields every ad lead, generates ad creative with nano banana, and closes deals over email → All orchestrated through Paperclip AI & powered by Claude Code Spokane Pulse (my local newsletter) now has 6,662 subscribers and a 47.5% open rate, almost double the industry average. Local newsletters are quietly printing money. Naptown Scoop does $320K/year. Wichita Life clears six figures. The model is wide open in almost every city, especially when building it in an AI-native way. If you want the full blueprint and step-by-step walkthrough video, Like, RT, and comment "PULSE" (must be following so I can dm you) I'll send you the exact Paperclip AI company export I use to run Spokane Pulse. You can clone it, swap in your city, and ship.

Late 2024: AI agencies sold n8n workflows for $2-$5K. Mid 2025: they pivoted to AI agents for $5-15K. Today: Claude Code ships in hours what used to take weeks, and most agencies are still pitching 2024's playbook. I spent 2 months rewriting mine for where we actually are in April 2026. Inside: → The offer closing $25K-$60K projects right now → Top 5 industries worth selling to this quarter → Content schedule generating my inbound (exact post types + cadence) → LinkedIn + cold email sequences booking calls today → My 4-call sales process from first touch to signed → The strategy doc + proposal template I'm using to close → 3 live client builds my team is shipping this quarter BONUS: First 100 people also get 2 discovery call recordings from my own sales process. Like + RT + reply PLAYBOOK and I'll DM you the link. Make sure to follow me so I can DM you.

One of the most overlooked AI publishing systems right now? Claude AI. When paired with the right design tools, it becomes a seamless workflow for creating, formatting, and publishing premium eBooks on Amazon KDP. The real advantage is scalability. Using this exact system, our portfolio crossed $72,000 in royalties last month. With just 4–6 high-quality books, the results can snowball faster than most creators expect. It's always the same. You hear this for every model release. No, the models aren't nerved. Your expectations increase, your codebase grows, people don't refactor, model "performance" decreases.

We were Clay's largest user at one point in time, hitting their platform 17.3 million times per week. Last month we replaced them entirely with a $200/mo Claude Code subscription. I can't write code. Neither can James, my VP of Growth who built the replacement. Here's the full story. Clay is a GREAT product and I TRULY think most people should use it. But we hit their ceiling. 50,000 row limit per table. 12.5 million row cap per workspace. Tables that take days to actually delete. Clicking "run all" thousands of times and waiting days for things to clear out. So When you're processing millions of leads, all the above become the bottleneck of your entire business. James had never touched Claude Code before. Three weeks after learning it, he built our entire core system. With Clay, processing 1 million leads took 27 hours. And it would error out often enough that we would always have to plan on hitting the “run all rows” button again on 20+ clay tables. IYKYK but Our new system waterfall enriches 1 million leads in 5 seconds. 272,000 leads PER SECOND. AND On top of the core engine, we vibe coded a Google Maps scraper that pulls leads zip code by zip code across all 32,000 US zip codes. AND An AI lead finder that hits 95% contact match rates where Apollo gives you about 30%. AND Ad library scrapers for Google and LinkedIn. AND An AI campaign analysis system. AND An auto-refill system so clients never run out of leads mid-campaign. One we started building with Claude, we just couldn’t stop Now we have the data ready for clients sending 5 million emails a month within 1 week of signing the contract. I put together the full system blueprint -- every tool, the tech stack, a Clay vs custom comparison, and a 6-step playbook for building your own. Plus a video walkthrough where I show you the live system and how each tool actually works. Retweet or Reply CODE below and I'll DM it to you.

I just flipped a Pinterest blog that made $25,500. - Time spent: 1-2 hours a MONTH. - Articles written by me: Zero. I’ve created a full Case Study breaking down the exact costs, the monetization path (Ezoic to Mediavine), and the replicate strategy. It’s perfect for seeing how to build digital assets without trading time for money. I’ll send it for free to the first 500 people. Like, RT, and comment “FLIP” and I’ll DM it to you RIGHT away! Shopify is getting integrated into ChatGPT. Now that it's official and no longer a secret, let me finally break down how SEO Stuff (seo-stuff.com/gold-plan-pack…) has quietly been getting traffic + sales for online stores over the last few months **specifically* through ChatGPT and Google. Before I get into it, though... If you want 3 cheat codes we’ve tested to get e-commerce brands cited inside ChatGPT in ~30 days: Follow me RT this post Comment "SEO Stuff AI Cheat Codes" and I’ll DM you the full playbook. You must do all 3 for the DM. Alright, let's start with yesterday's announcement. Soon 700M+ weekly ChatGPT users won’t just research products, they’ll buy them instantly. But here’s the key: You can’t sell in ChatGPT if your store isn’t visible in ChatGPT. Visibility is the real bottleneck and it doesn’t happen by accident. Here's how SEO Stuff (seo-stuff.com) has been getting it for clients over the last few months: 1. You have to own the 'best of' and 'x vs y' queries. This is the core of AI discovery. When users ask: “Best skincare brands in 2025” “Vuori vs Lululemon: Which lasts longer” ChatGPT doesn’t just scrape product catalogs, it pulls from authoritative buying guides and comparison pages. If you don’t have these pages, your competitors will own the results. An easy way to get this sorted? SEO Stuff's Premium Content Bundle (60 optimized buying guides + comparisons) seo-stuff.com/premium-conten… 2. You have to build out how-to and problem-solving content. 29% of ChatGPT conversations are practical guidance. People ask things like: “How do I pick the right moisturizer for oily skin” “How do I measure myself for compression leggings” “How to fix a zipper on a backpack” These are intent-rich. If your store creates step-by-step guides that solve these problems and naturally feature your products, you win. That’s what the Gold Plan does: 10 long-form how-to guides structured for snippets + 3 DR50+ backlinks for authority from sites ALREADY APPEARING IN AI SEARCH. That last part is key, by the way. seo-stuff.com/gold-plan-pack… 3. You have to optimize for AI extraction. It’s not enough to just write blog posts. AI engines need structure: Direct answers in the first 2 sentences Numbered lists and scannable subheadings TLDR summaries at the top Schema markup (FAQ, Product, HowTo) This is what makes your content crawlable, snippet-friendly, and AI-parsable. Without it, you’ll never get lifted into ChatGPT or Perplexity answers. Every article in the Gold Plan and Premium Content Bundle is built this way. 4. You have to build out authority. ChatGPT favors sources it trusts. Authority = backlinks + mentions. For e-commerce, that means: High-DR editorial backlinks in your niche Mentions on trusted review, lifestyle, or media sites Consistency of your brand entity across the web If you have weak authority, you’ll be invisible, even if your content is perfect. If you have strong authority, your brand gets surfaced as the answer. That’s why we built the Premium Backlink Bundle: 3 DR50+ backlinks on relevant, trusted sites. seo-stuff.com/premium-backli… 5. Your product and category schema needs to be in order. Google and ChatGPT need structured data to confidently recommend products. For stores, that means: Product schema with price, reviews, and availability Category-level schema (so your collections get parsed as entities) FAQ schema that mirrors natural ChatGPT-style queries This is technical but critical. Schema increases the odds your product feeds both AI Overviews and ChatGPT recommendations. SEO Stuff bakes this into our content process. 6. Your tracking needs to be on point. You won’t always see “referral: ChatGPT” in analytics. But you can track impact by monitoring: Brand mention volume inside AI responses Spikes in branded search after AI queries Long-tail keyword growth (e.g. “best moisturizers for teens”) Conversion lifts after comparison pages go live 85% of SEO Stuff customers reorder because they see these signals translate into sales. So why is all of this a big deal? Shopify’s integration solves checkout. SEO Stuff solves discovery. If you aren’t visible in AI-driven recommendations, your store will never make it to checkout, no matter how smooth Shopify makes the process. The Gold Plan, Premium Content Bundle, and Premium Backlink Bundle were built specifically to put your brand in the exact types of queries users ask in ChatGPT and Perplexity before buying. Gold Plan: seo-stuff.com/gold-plan-pack… Premium Content Bundle: seo-stuff.com/premium-conten… Premium Backlink Bundle: seo-stuff.com/premium-backli… AI search is already driving e-commerce discovery. Shopify just confirmed it by bringing checkout directly into ChatGPT. The businesses that win are the ones who don’t just show up in Shopify’s catalog, they show up in the conversations leading to the purchase. That’s what SEO Stuff is built to deliver. If you want 3 cheat codes we’ve tested to get e-commerce brands cited inside ChatGPT in as little as 30 days: Follow me RT this post Comment "SEO Stuff AI Cheat Codes" I’ll DM you the full playbook. You need to do all 3 for the DM.
