day 4 of my contribution to the @FungoLabs creator campaign.
so far, i’ve talked about what fungo is building, how its genesis nfts work and how the mint is structured.
today, i want to look beyond the genesis collection and talk about what comes next.
the genesis collection is only the beginning.
@fungolabs is working on the fungo launchpad, a platform that will allow other nft creators and studios to launch their own encrypted collections on ethereum.
instead of building their own privacy infrastructure from scratch, creators will be able to use fungo’s technology.
they’ll also have control over what stays public, what gets sealed and what holders can choose to reveal.
there’s also a game planned around genesis nfts, where players can use their hidden stats to compete without exposing their information.
now, here’s another interesting part.
genesis holders are expected to benefit from the launchpad through:
-> 20% of launchpad revenue going into a pool shared equally among genesis holders.
-> rewards in eth, zama and tokens from collections launched on the platform.
-> at least 5% of the token supply from each new collection, potentially going up to 20%.
then there’s $fungo, which has a fixed supply of 10 billion tokens.
-> the allocation includes
• 36% for genesis holders
• 7% for zama og holders
• 3% for the x campaign
• 10% for the community
• 10% for the team and
• 34% for liquidity
-> each genesis nft is allocated approximately 1.11m $fungo at tge.
the team’s allocation is locked for 12 months before vesting over the following 36 months.
what i’m particularly interested in is how all these pieces will work together.
private nfts, encrypted gaming, a launchpad for other creators and incentives for early supporters.
of course, these are announced plans, and actual adoption and execution will determine how far the ecosystem goes.

continuing my @FungoLabs campaign coverage, and this time, the genesis mint is officially live.
if you’ve been following my previous posts, i’ve already talked about how fungo is bringing privacy to nfts and how its genesis collection works.
now it’s time to look at the mint itself.
a few things worth knowing before jumping in:
the collection has a maximum supply of 3,232 nfts.
→ 500 free mints for approved whitelist accounts and nominees. gas only, one per account.
→ 2,500 nfts for the public sale.
→ 232 reserved for the team.
what makes this mint different is the encrypted sealed-bid auction.
instead of everyone minting at a fixed price, you decide how many nfts you want and how much you’re willing to pay in czama.
your bid amount and quantity stay encrypted while the auction is open, so other participants can’t see what you’re offering.
once bidding closes, successful bids are ranked and the lowest bid that fills the 2,500 available spots determines the clearing price.
everyone who wins pays the same price.
just remember that bids are binding, there’s a small non-refundable bidding fee, and you’ll need czama to participate in the public sale.
you can get czama by shielding zama through app.zama.org.
i find it interesting that fungo isn’t just using fhe to keep nft contents private, but also bringing that privacy into the minting process itself.
