In the future we will need a disclaimer for NO-AI used in games/music/art.
Organic free range hand crafted games/music/art.
THAT is a selling point. Allows you to coexist and compete with people using AI.
You will be rare. Therefore valuable.
Some thoughts for the discouraged creative, from a fellow creative.
You have skills and talents that will allow you to uniquely thrive in this next era.
You are going to be okay.
This would be a perfect time for @Apple to bring back the āThink Differentā campaign.
Iāve discovered that extreme anti-AI people cannot separate their reasonable opposition to generative AI music and art from the remarkable capabilities of coding agents.

Process and results are different yet both important parts of the creative process.
As an artist, there is great joy in the process. When creating for fun, the result almost doesnāt matter. I love doing this when I can!
As a professional creative, the final results are what matter to the one who commissioned us.
Unfortunately, we arenāt hired to dabble forever in a creative playground (at least I never have). We must deliver results. We can enjoy the road getting there, but deadlines, specs, and budgets demand that we deliver.
Itās healthy to pull out a pencil, and your instrument once in a while to not forget the process. (Preaching to myself)
Letās have a moment for the state of the āoldā game industry. It is over. It was a good run.
But now you, yes YOU can build exactly the game you want. With YOUR sound design, with YOUR music.
Donāt wait for someone to hire you. Get out there and build the next AAA title by yourself or with a friend this weekend.
You underestimate what is possible.
