She needs to be recalled. She has admitted she has no idea how the law she wrote herself, that affects us all, will be applied because she didn’t consult lawyers or experts before putting it forward and voting on it. Flagrant incompetence and abuse of her position.
Replying to @CobaltCherry
That is exactly what should be left to courts and experts to prove. All legislation requires interpretation alongside the facts of the case and the intention of the law. This is designed to ensure that harmful practices are discouraged.

The UK Media, Press & Government all work off the same page, in the same office, in the same house & the same bed. & the ugly truth is, The lot needs to be dismantled for us to move even one inch towards better things. But try campaigning on That & Not having your life destroyed.
This is so strong and clear. You can't help but notice that if this was in the UK context - you wouldn't be able to get a single one of these sentences out without a journalist barracking the person saying it constantly. The UK media is in quite a state.

The fact that the Labour Party has not expelled Tom Watson for joining Palantir just proves the party has not changed under Andy Burnham The Labour Party is rotten to the core
So Palantir buying a Labour Lord was good value for their money after all. Cash for access. Stinks.

Of course he did. Palantir hired Tom Watson to schmooze his old pals. And he did. There is no world in which Palantir helps boost "the UK's tech sovereignty". We need to know exactly how @YvetteCooperMP made this decision, based on what evidence & what data?
Palantir’s Tom Watson, ex-Labour MP, wrote to Yvette Cooper last month saying the controversial US company could help boost the UK’s tech sovereignty, letters show. Weeks later, sources say the UK is extending its NHS contract for two more years bit.ly/4zrbMYF

'Pornography is an unpopular thing to defend. But Britain has become too willing to ban anything pearl-clutchers dislike, from plastic straws to noisy protests' The new ban on certain types of porn depicting legal practices is wrong, @TheEconomist argues: economist.com/leaders/2026/1…

We voted to repeal the OSA at conference last year, we should talk about it!
If the Greens in the UK want free positive press they need to start pushing against stuff like the Online Saftey Act hard, they're floundering and what they're doing now isn't working

I've been in politics for a quarter century. It's hard to express how staggering it is to see a conversation like this on corporate US media. The Morning Joe panel gobsmacked by the directness of @AbdulElSayed's points. (clip via @DropSiteNews)

BREAKING: A US fighter jet has just struck an Iranian surface-to-air missile launcher on Qeshm Island with two missiles, after an Iranian missile was launched at the US fighter jet, per multiple initial reports. Iranian state media has confirmed the explosions. It is the second US strike on Qeshm this week, part of a series of strikes the US has carried out without publicly announcing them.

Rockstar has claimed £500million in tax relief from the UK taxpayer. They have paid £0 corporation tax. All the profit for GTA goes to America so it cannot be taxed. GTA was British. Now it’s American. I don’t think there’s anything worth celebrating there. If rockstar wanted to be a figurehead for UK games they would be. But they’re not. Because they don’t want to be. It’s that simple. Nothing to do with the government. I think they’re doing more than enough.
The British government should look at Rockstar Games like they do The Beatles and do more to talk up the fact it's a British studio responsible for the best games ever. Always weird to me that we don't celebrate our gaming roots more as a country, as they're pretty special

There is a contractual break point between Palantir and the NHS which ends in December. The government either begins the withdrawal of Palantir services from the NHS, or it continues for a further two years, then until 2031. Seems like Tom Watson has already earned his keep.

***EXCLUSIVE*** Democrats are preparing to use their new power in Congress to force the DoJ to hand over the unredacted Epstein files needed by Scotland Yard to pursue a case against Lord Mandelson, @Telegraph can reveal. The party plans to use its incoming control of Congress to compel the release of documents that could prove crucial to bringing criminal charges against the former ambassador. Democrats are also planning a renewed push to summon Lord Mandelson before Congress to answer questions about his links to Jeffrey Epstein, after he rebuffed previous invitations to give evidence, sources said. The intervention could throw a lifeline to Scotland Yard’s investigation, which has stalled amid delays by the Justice Department in handing over the original documents. w/ @bsmithjourno

🚨 This is @andyburnham first genuine test of British sovereignty. Skynet carries Britain’s most sensitive military communications. Its £2.4bn replacement cannot be treated like an ordinary procurement exercise. Airbus has maintained Britain’s sovereign satellite capability for decades, supporting thousands of highly skilled jobs in Stevenage and Portsmouth. The Ministry of Defence reportedly wanted to transfer the contract to America’s Lockheed Martin. After Trump, Starlink and Ukraine, these are no longer theoretical questions. Britain must not surrender another piece of critical national infrastructure to a foreign technology giant and call it sovereignty. Unless complete British operational independence can be guaranteed, Skynet should remain anchored in Britain’s existing capability and the European defence system we urgently need to strengthen.
