''Muli Mariani'', oil on paper, 33x41. Available.
I grew up fascinated by the Roman Empire (thanks to Asterix comics), and I loved reading Colleen McCullough's ''The First Man in Rome'' novels, so I wanted to paint a Marian legionary.

On this day 9 years ago, I painted this handsome fella. My favorite literary character from a book that shaped so much of who I am today! Frankenstein, or the modern Prometheus
