Mercer does return one key arm from the last two years, Collin Ewaldsen.
Ewaldsen has 49.2 innings over the last two years and just worked a clean 1-2-3 inning, sitting 92-94 striking out two Gator hitters.

Mercer lost seven of their top arms in innings last year, which means that Head Coach Craig Gibson is going to rely mostly on newer and younger arms.
Enter true freshman Conner Strandmark, who went six up, six down vs. the Gators, which included striking out projected top pick in the 2027 draft, Brendan Lawson. Strandmark sat 92-94, topping out at 95 with his fastball.
