Some artists don’t follow fans or random accounts because they see foreign stars like Jay-Z doing the same. But in those markets, autograph signings and fan events give artists other ways to connect with their audience. That culture isn’t as established here so Ghanaian artists need to consider the differences in market, culture and artist fan relationships. What works for Jayz may not work the same way for a Ghanaian artist. You can learn from the model but you still have to understand your own audience
