This is Winnie. She's just sitting here watching you do your best, and she's so proud. 12/10
ALT a tiny blond dachshund puppy stands on speckled concrete and looks up at you with two big, round, brown eyes. she’s wearing a matching magenta collar and leash, and a subtle smile that you can’t help but feel encouraged by. her chin tips upward, and she’s confident you can do anything.

Our students of color don't need saviors. They need educators who acknowledge and understand the uniqueness of their experiences.

Why Are Teachers So Tired All The Time? 😴
Research shows we make about 1,500 decisions a day! The constant requirement to ‘be on’ becomes DRAINING to our brains and bodies. It is called ‘Decision Fatigue’.
This explains a lot!!

The level of joy and excitement that a child expresses when they randomly see their teacher outside of school is something that not even celebrities experience. It’s the purest of joys.❤️🍎
