I'm into home renovation these days. So I built the Karpenter app for that. It has a blueprint and XYZ view and a beautiful 3D view. what a era.

How much would it cost you to pretrain a 2B LLM from scratch? $1M? $100K?
🚀Announcing Puro-2B, with a fully open recipe.
You can train a model that matches Qwen2-1.5B on RTX 5090s for less than $5090!
$4.4K → beats Qwen2-1.5B
$6.9K → approaches Qwen2.5-1.5B

Tried reading that famous AI paper, but couldn't get past page 2. Turns out I need to understand CNNs, RNNs, and what the hell a transduction model is first. 😅
I've been watching for 10 minutes, and I can't close it! Help!
37,000 people watched Infinite Slop yesterday!
So I consider it a success and I registered a domain name for it:

Let me know if you have ideas how to improve, I thought maybe make the chat full height and move the video more left (like Twitch?) but also it looks cool like this?
Only 4 videos per minute can be generated (4x 15 seconds = 1 minute), so that's kind of a limitation, not everyone gets their video generated if it gets busy
Some people say "let people pay $$$ to bid on it" but that's less fun, I like kinda how 4chan-ey/Hoodmaps-ey it is now
Also some people said I should connect the new video with the previous video by using its last frame, that's possible but it causes a technical challenge where you have to generate SO fast without ANY slowdowns (and sometimes there is slowdowns in generating) to get a perfect sequence going, but maybe I can do it in a slightly imperfect manner
Watching this is oddly scarily addictive, and of course dystopian, but it's interesting to try these experiments early and see where it goes
Thanks @rehan_shei + @marcantoinefon for the idea and @fal for VERY generously sponsoring and making this possible!
I just started learning the basics of AI engineering and discovered this repo: github.com/rohitg00/ai-engin…. It has excellent, detailed documentation! Currently, I'm on the math basics section, and it's a bit daunting since I don't have a traditional engineering background. But I'm gonna nail it. @ghumare64

Fountible's "Bro" designed a school landing in 1,5 mins. Then I asked it to design a dark mode version of it as well, in addition to another task (a features grid design).
All at the same time. Total time spent: 4,5 mins.
And mind you, everything in Fountible is also code/html

I am just really frustrating when I see -yeah this frontier model does this drink water app just one shot... What do you think? Is that hard before AI?
this will damage to a lot of startup. But I think, such as features should support by model provider itself, not from 3rd party.
here is my ios chart design. I want to ensure the user gets everything intuitively. #ios
I wonder if my $20 Kimi K3 package will be enough to complete my game. I'm on my second 4-hour session! :)
