We’ve been learning about verb tenses and how to work from a base verb and conjugate! We also learned about the prefix ‘un-’. This week at home, brainstorm some words that have that prefix! ✏️📝

Last week, we learned how to play Four Square! Some healthy competition has led to some recess tournaments. Playing outside is so much fun! #OCSBOutdoorLearning

Today’s Catholic Education Week activities - Boggle & Praying in Colour 🩵

We have been working as a whole group to practice solving word problems with larger numbers. We’ve been identifying the key information and using different strategies to solve problems!

We had a great virtual field trip with the Ottawa Humane Society! Grade 1s learned about the care provided by @ottawahumane, how to care for pets and even got a special visit from Sasha! 🐈 We connected to an important part of our community and tie into our Science Unit. #OCSB
