The other day, one of my classes said the most heartwarming compliments. We were discussing text structure—specifically description. They had to describe my classroom. Students answered w/ “safe,” “welcoming,” “loving,” “colorful,” “inviting.” My ❤️ is bursting with joy!!

I had the honor to attend the AMLE Conference for Middle School where I was privileged to listen to author, Jason Reynolds & journalist Phyllis Fagell as keynote speakers. I am very excited to implement new strategies/teaching practices into my classroom! Thank you, AMLE!🍎✏️

Bittersweet news - this will be my last week at PRMS. Retiring 1/1/23 after 40 years. It’s been amazing working with past & present colleagues; past & present Admin. I thank you all & will miss you. Onto my next adventure. ✈️🚗☀️💕❤️
