I’m sorry I couldn’t properly lead to this beautiful tribute the @CollegeGameDay put together. Really wanted to thank all of you for the avalanche of love and support you’ve shown Ben. It gives me and my family such comfort knowing how he impacted so many peoples lives around the country. He was a beautiful and loving soul.

Talking in class is more important than we thought!
Research from Sedova & Sedlacek suggests cognitive engagement, but not taking part in the discussion deepens learning less than being chatty but not as engaged. Talking helps us make sense of learning!

ALT "Teaching is ultimately an act of hope. Every time I teach a lesson, I hope it will inspire learning. Every time I intervene with a struggling student, I hope it will change the trajectory of their path. The temptation to fall into cynicism is alive and well in education. However, hope is a choice I make every day." —Rachel Jorgensen, Educator

Lovely moving and light up models from some of our 8 and 9 year old students. Using @microbit_edu with servos and neopixel LEDs. The aim was to learn to connect components for other cross curricular activities or creations. #edtech #makered
