Afternoon all 🌈☕
I've stopped for the night, it'll be too stormy to sail tomorrow so we will be exploring Fort William instead!
I've painted a postcard for the dementia group and art group and I'll post it tomorrow, hopefully they will receive it before I get back! 🥰

Today I took warm socks out of the drawer.
The woollen ones the Lady with Golden Hands knitted in the last years of her life.
Every time I pass the place where she used to sell them, I sigh.
Her smile...
It's getting colder in Kyiv.

The EU is considering a new loan to cover part of Ukraine’s funding shortfall in 2027.
Given the low likelihood of revisiting the issue of using frozen Russian assets for #Ukraine’s benefit, amid Belgium’s opposition and the lack of consensus on an equitable distribution of the financial and legal risks involved, borrowing at the European level appears to be the most viable option, a source in Brussels-based European institutions told Ukrinform on condition of anonymity.
The #EU does not expect the United States to participate in the relevant funding programmes.

In just one week, russia launched thousands of bombs, missiles, and drones at Ukraine. Almost every day, these strikes took lives: last night, 4 people were killed in the Dnipro region, and once again, a child was among the injured.
While diplomacy continues, russia keeps killing. Every intercepted missile and drone means a home saved and a life spared. Support Sky Defense.
