Our experiments show that ACAL can reduce annotation costs (up to ~40%!) and improve performance on annotator-centric metrics, especially when there's a large, diverse pool of annotators available (4/5)
ACAL's effectiveness varies based on annotator agreement and number of available annotators, but it offers a promising approach for balancing majority and minority voices. Stay tuned for the camera ready for #EMNLP2024! (5/5)
