With unanswered messages & reference to insignificance, from the top of #K2, #Kanchenjunga or Cascade 🇨🇦, I may be small yet the ways I choose to respond to adversity allows others to see what is possible: THAT is significant.

I have walked away from 8 000 m climbing thoughtfully and intentionally climbing more technical and interesting routes in the Rockies soon to be back to backcountry skiing and ice climbing continuing to shine light on the power of perspective and possibility.

If something no longer feels aligned with my purpose, when I take the time to sit with my motivations, values and emotions, I discover that there is no longer alignment, changing direction is more powerful than sticking to something for fear of judgment of “quitting”.

with reference to the July article where I was mentioned: I feel there are times to pivot, times to let go, times to choose differently; there is a difference between reacting to things being hard and truly having a change of heart.
