2 great Mastodon apps to try. Both are very well built.

It's officially over.
No more Fenix on Android, iOS or macOS.
Fenix for iOS was suspended earlier today and I've removed it from sale.
I've had a great time working on these apps for the past 10 years and I'm very greatful for all your messages and support.

Tweetbot has been around for over 10 years, we've always complied with the Twitter API rules.
If there's some existing rule that we need to comply with, we'd be happy to do so, if possible. But we do need to know what it is...
@TwitterDev, you know how to reach us.
Twitter is enforcing its long-standing API rules. That may result in some apps not working.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Currently it's all major third party clients not some. Also, it is unknown what long standing rules have been broken as no guidance has been provided to any API partner. And as the tweet notes, these rules have not changed.

We still have not received any clear communication as to why @Twitter deactivated Twitterrific on Jan 13th.
We’ve updated our blog post to reflect this - blog.iconfactory.com/2023/01…
5 days to come up with this.
What rules???

Three days in, still no news from the glorious Twitter management. Very cool indeed.
Fenix on iOS inexplicably still working 🤷♂️
Let's continue working on #woolly, there's still a ton to do.
Get it on TestFlight if you want to try a new Mastodon app.

It’s been 36 hours since Twitter disabled access for Twitterrific for iOS & other 3rd party apps.
There’s still no official word about what’s going on. We apologize for the ongoing interruption. 😓

There you go. The total lack of communication is quite insulting for all the people who worked on these apps and use them every day.
I mean, the platform is yours and you can do whatever you want with it, but own your own decisions.
SCOOP: Twitter intentionally suspended Tweetbot and other third-party apps, per internal Slack messages viewed by The Information. theinformation.com/articles/…
Woke up to radio silence from Twitter still.
More than 24 hours with no communication, at this point I have no faith in the situation changing soon.
I want to thank you all for the kind messages, I'm really glad my little app was useful to so many people.
Let's hope this is not the end of it.
In the meantime, if you are on iOS and Mastodon, you can try something new I've been working on these past few weeks.

Well, this was an interesting day.
Better get some sleep now, hoping to wake up to at least Fenix on iOS still standing and an inbox not too much full on angry people.

Replying to @phorsberg @mttvll
Saw someone post a spreadsheet in Japanese with which apps got suspended. Bunch of Android with a few from other OS docs.google.com/spreadsheets…
Fenix for Android suspended, no communication whatsoever from Twitter.
Probably an automated action, but I doubt very much I'll heard from them again and be able to resolve the issue.
